Visit us today in Stirling, New Jersey. Our menu is assembled with a wide variety of recipes from the Dodecanese and other islands. Every dish we create is enveloped with the story and traditions of those who’ve prepared them before. Every dish is like a journey to a unique, wholesome and majestic way of life. We love dining at 12 Islands. The food is excellent, as well as the service and atmosphere. If you close your eyes you will find yourself in "Greece" at this wonderful restaurant. We highly recommend!

Our 1st time there and it was amazing! All the staff we interacted with were very accommodating and so friendly. The food was outstanding! Very fresh and authentic. The complimentary pita bread and spreads were delicious. We shared a few small plates and were stuffed. The portions are very generous and prepared well. We shared the Garides Saganaki, keftefes & the Gyro platter. So many great things to get so we’ll definitely be back soon!

Staff is very friendly. Lots of variety on the menu plus specials. I had the Black Sea bass which they deboned for me in the kitchen and left the head for authenticity!!! Th lemon potatoes were delicious as was the spinach. I love vegetables. The wine list is decent and so are the prices. Baklava is perfect!!!

I had Bronzino and it wasn’t a grilled whole Bronzino it was fillet, which is not as good as a whole Bronzino fish grilled, but the octopus was very good

Wonderful evening at 12 Islands. Started off with drinks and 3 delicious appetizers. The special appetizer of the night was Shrimp and Chorizo in garlic sauce. We used the provided pita bread to sop up every drop of that sauce. We added a Horiatiki salad and their vegetable chips with tsadiki sauce. Perfect!! After that I wound up taking half my entree home because I was thoroughly sated. The lamb shank with orzo was large and well cooked to fall off the bone doneness. Finished off with a Greek coffee. We will definitely return. Our waiter, Chris, was personable and efficient as always

I had always heard about this place but finally decided to give it a try. The food was amazing. Didn’t expect to find good Greek/Mediterranean food but this place is a jewel hidden in a suburban town in New Jersey. The service is quick and the staff friendly. The price is moderate, maybe a touch expensive given that it is a restaurant in a suburban town. Highly recommend it.

The food as always was excellent . There was a mixup with the order but it was quickly corrected. Also we were overcharged on drinks (3 sodas charged but my son only had two) . Our waiter quickly saw the issue and took care of it before we even mentioned anything. He removed the sodas completely from the bill and gave us complimentary after dinner drinks. We always leave here happy. Will definitely come back again.
