   This was our first time to this restaurant. We were seated immediate and the atmosphere was quaint. Our server was a young g lady who. I am not sure if she was new but she took our drink order and then came back for our appetizers order. She never returned for our entree order until we had finished our appetizer. There seemed to be a bit of a wait which I am sure kitchen was busy as place was full. When our dinners arrived, my husband’s was different than what he ordered. Even though it was a completely different entree than what he ordered, my husband was fine with what was brought out as it would’ve been his second choice on the menu and he didn’t want to send it back and wait any longer. The server seemed oblivious to her error and never acknowledged. Not sure we will give this one a second chance. Food good but service really not.

   Everything was amazing the food and the people but the best part was our server Tony this guy was a dedicated server he knew his food and was super pleasent and we enjoyed everything can’t wait to go back again it was our 45 th wedding anniversary

   Fabulous cocktails and food was good, but not as good as they used to be. Bread service was warmed dinner rolls that were dry and appeared store bought. Mashed potatoes were completely un-seasoned. My steak and salad were very good and nothing was outright bad. I just think the details have declined, except that the cocktails were and still are top tier!

   The service was excellent, the food was outstanding. Our one complaint : we wanted to order a side of bacon to accompany the French Toast, which oddly lacked any protein with it. The response was a polite no- we had to order an entire second entree just to have a couple slices of bacon. Disappointingly unreasonable.

   My husband and I normally go here for dinner, which is always amazing. Their filet medallions and mashed potatoes are chefs kiss. Service is always top notch. But today we went and tried their brunch for the first time and WOW. Was not excepting it to be that good. My husband got the is quits and gravy and I got the French toast. The French toast was made from thick brioche bread and it was so soft and had so much flavor. And portions were big! Another great experience at 1808.

    Food and drinks were great. It took over 5 minutes for anyone to come to our table. There were several open tables so it didn’t appear that the server was just busy. Not a great look for a first visit to a restaurant. The food was excellent, drinks were great. It picked up from there. Service was never remarkable, but adequate.
