    Ribeye steak was overcooked as the diner in the party ordered rare… didn’t bring it up as we were in a party but presenting medium while ordering rare not good.

    I was disappointed with the beef, looked as though it had stood around for a while with very little taste. The gravy was also below par.

    Lovely Sunday lunch today. Beef soft to eat and good Yorkshire puds! Coming from a Yorkshire resident, high praise. Staff attentive and efficient. Looking forward to our next visit. Thanks to the whole team

    As always 21 was a superb place to spend an evening. Drinks at the bar followed by superb food with friendly, knowledgeable and efficient service In the 30 odd years I’ve been dining at a cafe 21 it’s always proved to be my favourite and the one place we get dressed up and arrive early to enjoy the atmosphere and ambience. My thanks go to Richard who always makes the evening go so smoothly with his friendly efficient style

    We had all round excellent experience, the tasting menu was fantastic, service attentive, friendly but not OTT, great wine list (££££ perhaps) but the whoever selects it clearly does an amazing job, some lesser known great bottles on there. Thanks to all the staff - we will definitely be back….hopefully Newcastle win next time…!

    First visit to 21, certainly not our last. We loved the food. It was absolutely delicious. Would highly recommend the cheese souffle and lemon meringue choux bun. Service was excellent throughout and staff were very attentive.

    Outstanding in every aspect as always. The manager and his team are outstanding in every way, efficient, polite, friendly and knowledgeable. The decor is modern and attractive (It’s great that they use linen napkins) and the menu is superb. We enjoyed every course and each were cooked to perfection. The cheese soufle is to die for. This must be one of the best if not the best restaurants in Newcastle.utstanding.

    Felt quite ill after the meal so that's why I marked down the food in particular. Everything else v good. Staff, restaurant, ambience etc
