The food and service were great. The seating though was over congested. We and servers had to squeeze between chairs of people sitting at adjacent tables disrupting the people seated. The room temperature was very hot occasionally feeling like a blast furnace door was being opened next to us.

I had high expectations for this restaurant, given its reputation and price point of over $100 per person. While the food was undeniably high quality, the overall experience did not justify the cost. The first major issue was the seating arrangement—tables were packed so tightly together that it was uncomfortable for diners and made it nearly impossible for the waitstaff to move freely. This led to an unacceptable situation where our waiter, Peter (who was otherwise doing his best), repeatedly pushed down on the shoulder of one of our guests just to squeeze by. It was baffling that he thought this was appropriate service. To make matters worse, we were there to celebrate two birthdays, and while we wanted to focus on the occasion, the overall discomfort and poor service put a damper on the evening. Given the price and the caliber of the restaurant, I expected far better. Unfortunately, this experience was deeply disappointing, and I wouldn’t rush back anytime soon.

We had a pretty awful experience overall. We booked well in advance and requested a booth. We arrived and were seated at the worst, highest traffic table beside where the linens are kept. We requested to be moved to a better table before being seated - we were told no. We asked again if we could move to a table that opened up and the manager told us the table had to be kept open for four people after which not even five minutes later two people were seated at the same table. It took 33 minutes to get our drinks and an hour to receive our food. We were eventually moved to a better table, but then had to wait longer for a new waiter (which is understandable) who dropped water all over me and my jacket. It was comically all around bad. The steak when it did come out was charred and the potatoes cold. I will say we were offered a round of drinks free for the table situation (it was not reflected on our bill though). For the price and the fact that it was a special evening this was definitely not worth it at all. Just a note to management , perhaps instead of trying to squeeze as much seating as possible to make the most money at the expense of your very well paying customers experience, keep the seating to an amount that ensures no one has a lesser experience. You certainly charge enough that an excellent experience and service should reflect your pricing. Sometimes quality of customers is better than quantity. You have now lost two customers who have been fairly regularly supporting your establishment and would have faithfully continued to do so had the experience not been so comically bad.

Our server John was fantastic! Conversational and well versed in the menu and tailored it well to our requests. The band was AMAZING! Loved that V-day vibe and also very interactive (drummer and bassist took the time to chat and answer my random curious questions!) Our first experience and certainly won't be our last!

Moi et mon mari on a partagé le repas pour 2 le tomahawk tellement bon j ai adoré en plus comme entrée on a pris la bisque d homard et quoi dire du dessert la mousse au chocolat maison dans toute ma vie je n avais jamais aussi bien mangé et que dire du personnel notre serveur tellement gentil je recommande ce restaurant et juste plate que je nous restions plus proche le meilleur restaurant au Québec dans tous les sens du mots

it was no less than i expected, i have eaten steaks from the butcher shop before so i had a clue. its easily as good as moishes or gibby's. the fries were fantastic, rib eye too. all 6 of us really enjoyed our experience. i would, and will, revisit. C
