   Wonderful service and food as always! Jewel of a steakhouse in So Cal! The fact that the restaurant does not charge guests a corkage fee is unheard of in today’s world!! Such a wonderful place and we will always come back when visiting the wonderful city of Long Beach!

   555’s appetizer of Baked Goat Cheese with roasted garlic - and the crispy just-toasted crostini is my midday favorite all day. The trio & textures are a culinary collaboration of coolness. Filet Mignon Cobb bacon, tomato and blue cheese, with champagne vinaigrette over blue cheese dressing - and have it tossed in kitchen. As filling as it is - it’s pleasantly presentable and huge. A great lunchtime salad.

   Came here to celebrate a birthday, from beginning to end nonstop excellent service. We were greeted be the hostess and confirmed are reservation along with a “happy birthday” which was a very nice small gesture, as soon they seated us they gave us a happy birthday card with all of the teams signatures which was another nice gesture of them, with being seated they offered us water with lemon along with bread and whipped butter as well as a wine and cocktail menu to start. The ambiance was quite nice for outdoor deck seating. Our server Don was amazing very attentive and very knowledgeable of the menu as well as the cocktails and which wines made great pairings with the entrees, he made it such an amazing experience in my opinion. After ordering drinks and an appetizer which was brought out quick we went ahead and ordered our entrees, Don ensured that the meat would be cooked to our preference and would not disappoint, he was not wrong! The ribeye was simply cooked to perfection and just Devine, the perfect amount char seasoning and brine. We ordered a pasta as well just as delectable as the ribeye the chicken was cooked excellent tender and savory paired really well with the sauce they used too. The whole team was very attentive from our server Don to the lead server making sure that we were getting taken care of as well as the kitchen staff making sure that everything was cooked well and tasted great. While we finished enjoying our food Don brought us out a vanilla crème brûlée birthday dessert with a candle along with a “happy birthday” the dessert tasted amazing. After finishing our dessert nobody from the team made us feel rushed to pay and leave in my opinion that is a win in customer service for me. But overall the customer service experience, the food and as well as the ambiance everything was outstanding would definitely be coming back to celebrate any occasion or just for dining, definitely an excellent restaurant and will be recommending.

   I've dined at 555 for many years, and I brought my mother here before to celebrate her 85th birthday. During the Long Beach Grand Prix last year, and this year , I noticed a pattern of longer wait times to be seated. I had specific instructions not to be seated at an outside table, but this year, April 12th, 2025, the hostess wanted to seat me on the outside patio. I refused the option, which led to a longer wait time of over 30 minutes. I brought this up to the general manager and instead of being helpful and accomodating, I was lectured on how she has been there for 10 hours, then she instructed our server Leslie in a condescending manner to make sure that I was 100% satisfied. Her insincerity and the tone of her comments, which were borderline gaslighting, were not welcomed and embassing to hear in front of my business colleagues and friends. The kitchen was so backed up that our dry aged steaks and other items were so delayed in the arrival to our table that after an hour and 45 minutes, we lost our desire to even eat. None of my dinner guests finished our entrées. I usually have great service and a pleasant experience, so I will be making future reservations, but I will avoid alerting management to any issues I may have , because I want a pleasant experience as a goal. 555 missed the mark. Our server Leslie always does an excellent job; however, the female manager may need to be retrained on how to handle valid issues that patrons spending hundreds of dollars may have in a more diplomatic manner. Admitting fault would mean facing their own imperfections, something the manager is psychologically incapable of doing..

   This place is a must every time we’re in town for the Grand Prix. Best steak house hands down and always the best service.

   Great evening! The food was delicious. We plan to go back again tomorrow night. The only negative I could say would be the noise level. It was difficult to have a conversation with your table mates.
