                                                                                                                We had another great visit to 59 Almshouse last night. We were seated on the quieter side of the restaurant which I like. Our meal was excellent as always. Salmon, burgers, and my wife had the soup of the day which was crab bisque. She could not stop raving about it. She said it was the best soup she ever had. She actually called the restaurant and asked them to put it on the regular menu. We love that the restaurant is close to our home, comfortable, great service and most of all we have only had terrific meals whenever we go. We cannot wait to return.

Could get a bit loud but there are some areas that might be better. Not clear if we missed instructions but there is limited parking although if is OK there are adjacent businesses that are unlikely to be open in the evenings. Can park across the street but busy street and not particularly safe

                                                                                                                i always enjoy dining at "59"! whether it's a steak, hamburger, falafel, or my FAVE seafood chowder ... it's great! re the chowder the appetizer size is quite filling and always steaming hot filled with mussels and crab and deelish veggies !!
