One of the rooms needs something to deaden the noise. It also doesn’t help that some guests are not familiar with inside voice. It’s very difficult to have a normal conversation due to how loud the room gets.

                                                                                                                Half of the dishes ordered were delicious, the other greasy and overcooked. We found it more difficult to hear as things got busier. The coffee was much better than most restaurants and the service was excellent. Will definitely go again, but be more cautious about what we order. Cauliflower appetizer was great. Salads good. Turkey Reuben was way too greasy.

                                                                                                                Food and service were excellent!! The only downside (and, really minor one at that) is that we were seated in the larger room with the high ceiling. This room is louder and has more of a tavern / bar atmosphere (TVs and bar) ... I think if you're going for a romantic date-type night, try asking for the other room. All in all, would stop recommend!

                                                                                                                Highly recommend. Menu had so many great options that it made it difficult to choose. Ambience was warm and charming; service and food was excellent. Loved the firewall!

                                                                                                                We enjoy 59 Almshouse everytime we dine there.Anthony who is the manager made sure we were taken care of and Morgan our waitress was so friendly and very attentive to whatever we asked for.She was excellent!! Food was delicious and the drinks were very well made.We will be coming back in the near future…Just an enjoyable night had by all. Much Appreciated, Dave Gallo
