This is about the 4th time my friend and I have celebrated our birthdays by going out to 75 Chestnut. I love this restaurant because it’s festive, but casual. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. There were enough vegetarian options. There just weren’t any draft IPA beers available which was disappointing to me. Our server was wonderful. She was so friendly and attentive, and did everything she could to make our dinner perfect. To top it all, the restaurant gave us a special birthday dessert with a candle as a surprise.

Ashley, our server, was fabulous. Food—amazing and came out fast and prepared perfectly. Great wine. Felt like a favorite place for locals, not tourists. Amazing!

This visit was on Christmas Eve. The reason for 4 stars and not 5 stars is that extra tables were added to accommodate the demand, but bumping elbows with the patron sitting behind me was a little to cozy for my taste. The good was good and I appreciated and enjoyed the holiday specials - cocktails and entrees. For Beacon Hill, the value of the meal was exceptional. As one individual in our party has food allergies, I appreciated the server and the chef's ability to accommodate food allergies.

My wife and I love it here! Food and service is always great. And the vibe — well, it’s just fantastic and welcoming. We feel very lucky that this gem is in our neighborhood! We’ll be there again on New Years Eve for an early dinner. Thank you for making our Christmas Eve dinner so enjoyable!

The food was great. It was busy and we sat at the high top in the bar area. It took a few minutes to be seated but the staff was very attentive despite the busy environment.

One of my favorite restaurants in Boston. Food and Service are always excellent. The ambience is nice and cozy to make for a relaxing dinner.

Well, maybe we got them on a bad day. amid-afternoon Sunday. This is a spot that always excels with holiday atmosphere in December but it was rather flat today. Music was too quiet. Service was pleasant but slow. The decorations wet all up, but the mood was a bit down. The food was fine. There just was no magic and certainly nothing special.
