Our super friendly staff will make you want to come back again and again. we are the essential Beacon Hill restaurant a must see for residents and visitors alike. Our seafood stew and steak tips have our guests wanting to come back. Food was very pre prepared - nothing seemed fresh. It was all right out of a jar or can or box. Had Caesar salad that tasted like grocery store with awful crotons. Middle East plate not as good as Wegman’s meals 2 go. Ambience was terrible with loud music and vinyl covered chairs.

Always a pleasure at 75 Chestnut. I’ve never had a bad meal, or sub-standard service. A wonderful place to impress out-of-town foodie friends. It is reliably outstanding, which is why we keep coming back

If you’re looking for an old fashioned, dark tavern style eatery with a big tv with the game on, this may be your spot. Went for Thanksgiving. Food was good, but crazy overpriced even by NYC standards! $115 + mandatory 20% tip + tax and beverages for a Salad OR Soup, a main course + a dessert sampler plate. Place is NOT fancy. Gruff Boston owner does Not make you feel particularly welcome or cared for. After waiting by the door, we were told to “grab a table” by the window. Charming Beacon Hill neighborhood.

Fantastic food, fantastic service. From when we were so warmly welcomed into the restaurant until we left (not able to eat another single thing!), everything was next level. I am grateful that 75 Chestnut was open, keeping in mind that the staff weren’t able to spend (as much) time with their own loved ones as they were taking care of us.

Perfect cozy place for a fall meal. We come back every fall but this time the food was not what we remembered. Quality has suffered a bit, but great ambiance and cocktails makes it worthwhile.
