Came back and had the same great experience overall! Everyone form the greeter to our waiter and water refill host was super nice. Thank you for making Valentine’s Day special.

                                                                                                                                    Our visit to 801 Chophouse in Kansas City was excellent. The steaks were cooked to perfection, and the service was attentive and friendly. Despite the upscale ambiance, they were very accommodating to our two children, making it a comfortable and enjoyable experience for the whole family. Highly recommend for a great steakhouse dinner.

                                                                                                                                    This was great on every level! Dustin was great, the hosts, and the kitchen nailed the steaks and sides. The oysters were awesome. Let's talk about the Snake River Farms wagyu strip. I can't believe the flavor. My husband, the meat expert, was in heaven! It's not over seasoned like some places. I would be honored to eat that again! The only struggle we had was with the parking situation. Partly our fault for not utilizing the valet parking. Happy customers!

I'm so tired of bad service, sub-par food, loud and cold environment, etc. I want a place where I can dress up and spend $300+ for a special occasion and feel good about it. I've been so mad at places lately. Capital Grill (sense the new "revamp"' Stock Hill, McCORMICK & SCHMICK'S, all been so bad. Terrible service, loud atmosphere, decent food. 801 has the beautiful dark wood and the candles and servers all dressed in uniform. The service was so good! Tentative, caring, I felt like I was being cared for while eating. The steaks, calamari, mussels, crab, all so perfect. I've never had a better steak. The 12 ounce filet mignon was massive but cooked perfectly to medium rare. Hard crust on the outside and perfection on the inside. Lobster Mac
