good martini/old fashioned. Crab gratin is wonderful. My salmon was fresh and properly cooked and my wife's scallops were great

Good evening. This was my 35th wedding anniversary. My wife and I very much enjoyed our experience at 801 fish house. Small touches made the dining experience amazing. First was the menu with 35th anniversary on it. We kept it and took it home. Our server Jacob was by far great. Offered and explained all the specials, with ingredients, and if we had allergens and substitutions, and appetizer. He had an answer for all our questions. So to you, sir, I say thank you. Made the experience special. Made us an 801 prime member as well. The young lady that checked on us several times through our meal, thank you. She worked at the hostess stand with black pants suit on. We will be back.

Jake was our server and he was quite knowledgeable about the menu and specials. Everything that he suggested was delicious. Top Notch service!

Nice people and good service but my food was pretty disappointing. $55 for lobster risotto that wasn’t cooked properly and it was seasoned pretty blandly. Risotto is supposed to be creamy and smooth. This wasn’t. Then the dessert we ordered—some sort of frozen hazelnut and chocolate thing was really hard to eat and lacking in flavor. I don’t mind spending a lot for a really good meal, but this food was expensive and really mediocre. On the positive side the crab cake appetizer was pretty good.

The food was phenomenal especially the octopus. Service was great although there was a couple times our drinks ran out. I think it was a hold up at the bar and not our servers fault. The Bikini Bottom cocktails are worth waiting for. The crab legs were perfectly cooked. Crab cake is flavorful and loaded with crab meat. My wife's filet was a little on the rare side ordered med but still great. My strip was a little over cooked for medium (brown center) but still tender and juicy so I didn't complain about it. Pricing is about as expected for a higher end restaurant. Great overall experience for our 46th anniversary.
