   A group of six had dinner and everyone enjoyed their meal. We had many things on the menu the Boeuf Bourguignon, St. Laurant Salmon, Ratatouille , and Truite Almandine that were delicious. The portion sizes were generous. We had great service . Overall a lovely dinner.

   Great French bistro food. Nice portions, great selection, fabulous specials. Monday night was quiet which was wonderful. Desserts were delicious. We will be back.

   Second time back sine they lost their chef. New one is not good. On first visit a couple of months ago the food was under seasoned and bland. This time, all 4 of us needed to add salt and pepper and the food was still bland. Two of us had the duck, a staple here for years, and the meat was so stringy it was almost inedible. They both asked for more sauce just to try and get through it but even that was lacking in flavor and seasoning. My appetizer onion tart was served cool and was greasy. Overall I real disappointment after over a decade of good meals. Won't go back till they get a new chef and use better quality ingredients.

   Wonderful evening of good, friendship and entertainment (The Tonics performed). Everything was delicious and the service was impeccable.

   My husband & I have dined at this restaurant many times. Our meals have ranged from very good to very bad. Since we’ve had enough positive experiences here, we always returned. Our dinner here on Saturday night was our last. Our server, Bernice, was rude & intolerant of my husband’s dietary restrictions. I’ve had other servers there that were exceptional. Unfortunately, Bernice was not one of them. She should not be working in a service industry where customer service can make or break your dining experience. My husband’s food came out cold. When he asked our server to please heat the food, she grabbed the food without saying a word & stormed away with the plate. My duck breast would have been ok if it had not been filled with fat, which should have been trimmed from the edges but was not. I could not chew it without having to spit out fatty portions from most bites. Since it was prepared very rare(I requested medium), I requested they cook it more, hoping that would make it more palatable. It helped a little but not enough to enjoy the meal or how much I had to chew it. A fine dining establishment should be consistent with their service & food quality. Unfortunately, this restaurant is not. Therefore, I will not return here. Spring Mill Cafe is a French byob with exceptional food & service and is consistent. We will be dining there when we crave French food.

    As ever, I couldn't get by the homemade pates with accompaniments. Wonderful food and atmosphere. My favorite place to dine.
