   I went to a voce to catch up with a good friend of mine. The service was amazing, the waiter took really care of us and our desires for wine. The food was very innovative, the portions were were just right and we spent time to think about what we are eating and how the different ingredients taste together

   A Voce used to be a favorite. However, over the last year I have been consistently disappointed with the E. 26 location (now their only restaurant). This was at least the third or fourth (and last) time I had an inexcusably bad meal. I was served a pork loin that was tough and tasteless. I will not eat at this restaurant again.

   I have eaten at this place several times before and this time the menu was a disappointment. Limited and not special.

   I was very disappointed in the service at this restaurant. We were seated outside and it started drizzling so I our table was changed to under an awning. However, the awning was not opened. We had to request the staff to open the awning so we wouldn't get rained on. There appeared to be some hesitation. If this was the case, then they should have just moved us inside instead of over under the half opened awning. Just bizarre.

   The food at A Voce is always wonderful. The service is gracious, and the lack of din/pounding music makes conversation with one's companion possible.

   The food was very good and the portions were just the right size. There were no more than 7 tables of people from 7:30-9:00 on a Saturday night so any atmosphere was lacking.

    The food, what there was of it was good, but seriously, the steak on the restaurant week menu was something of a joke, three smallish medallions is not a dinner.
