   I am incredibly disappointed in the experience for the cost. I've been to a ton of steakhouses, all across this country. The ambiance took my back to a steakhkuse I went to with my family as a kid in the 80-90s. And it is the same experience at a crazy price. If I'm paying $75 for a rib eye, I expect grass fed or dry aged, not standard choice grade. Ordered a Manhattan, bourbon/rye options were meh, and it tasted watered down. Oysters rockerfeller were overdone, and flavor didn't stand out. Scallops were very good, only a single crab cake for the entree but it was good, my wife was satisfied with her tenderloin. All the steaks were cooked spot on. I just expected higher quality and wow factor for the price.

   Tried this restaurant for the first time since we've lived in Charlottesville. The service was outstanding the food was very very good and we will return again!

   My daughter and I had dinner, she had the rib-eye I had the chicken breast. We were both delighted with all our food, service was awesome and the ambiance of an iconic steak house can't be beat. Lots of imitators out there but there is only one "The Barn". Great for game watching on game night, date night or celebration or to simply enjoy a fine dinging experience....LOVE The Aberdeen Barn!

   We had not been to Aberdeen Barn in years since we don't live in Charlottesville, but it was a lovely dinner. Our waitress was "Kathleen" and she was delightful. She was there when we needed her and she checked in on us and kept us "watered" and happy. She was more than our waitress, we felt more like we were guests in Kathleen's home. She made us feel welcome and cared for. We go to C'ville a few times a year and will certainly be back. There were other items on the menu we wanted to try!!

   We had an excellent meat, had prime rib which cooked just the way I like. Our server definitely earn.his tip, he provided great service. I have been several times and will definitely be going several more

   The steak was great! Everything else was just okay. I’m glad we had the experience but it will definitely be a one and done for us!

   When ever I am in Charlottesville overnight, I try to come here for dinner. Best prime rib in the state. Other dishes are great too. But I come so seldom, I must have the prime rib!
