Established in 1965 as Charlottesville's premier steakhouse, dinner the Barn has become a Charlottesville tradition. Serving only the finest Certified Angus Steaks, award winning Roast Prime Rib, exceptional seafood, fine wines and a full bar.
We are open Wednesday - Saturday for inside dining, curbside pickup and outside seating when weather permits.

                                                                      This was a right-after Chistmas dinner for 5 friends. Everything was close to perfect. Three of us had crabcakes , 1 had the princess cut of prime rib and the fifth had scallops. Our waiter was attentive and friendly and knowledgeable, and pronto on multiple requests for drinks. Everyone remarked at the wonderful food, with two exceptions - two said their broccoli could have been steamed longer, but then mine was juicy soft and delicious. The baked potatoes and broccoli portions are huge and two of our party split theirs and shared with others. Two had onion soup and said it was the best they ever had. Two got deserts - the strawberrry cheesecake and chocolate cake and said they were delish. It was quiet where we were seated and no one had trouble hearing conversations. All in all we had a wonderful time talking and eating. We will be back.

                                                                      We’ve visited this restaurant many times over the years and we were very disappointed in the experience now vs prior visits. The prime rib was cold and when we mentioned it, it was obviously tossed in a microwave or something as the meat was just a little warmer and the outside was grey, but the plates were still cold.

                                                                      We were visiting the area and went to Aberdeen for a Steak Dinner. We were impressed with the quality of food and service we received! Our steaks were excellent, full of flavor, tender and cooked to perfection! Our Server was great, She has been with the comp for years. We were given much information about the Restaurant, so impressive. A wonderful evening spent at Aberdeen-Barn!
