Afternoon Tea & Atrium Cocktails

Afternoon Tea, a decades-long tradition at The Brown Palace, is set amid the historic grandeur of the Atrium Lobby serenaded by a melodic piano. Guests enjoy a pot of properly brewed English tea accompanied by scones served with Devonshire cream and preserves, savory tea sandwiches, and a delightful array of classic tea pastries.

Atrium Cocktails are on Friday & Saturday evenings, from 4:30 to 7:30 pm and select nights throughout the week. Sip on classic cocktails, wine, or a refreshing pint with charcuterie and other inventive dishes. Live music by The John Kite Jazz Quartet will complete an unforgettable and lively experience.

$10.00 per person for Vegan and / or Gluten- Free. Parties of five or more, please choose a maximum of three teas. Complimentary second plate of sandwiches included. Twenty percent gratuity will be added for parties of five or more. We will not accept more than three credit cards per party, and the check will be split evenly.

We had a fantastic experience with the hostess, Lynn. There was a mix up with our booking and instead of disappointing my 12 and 8 year old children Lynn went above and beyond to find us a table. The atmosphere was beautiful. Our seats were just next to the hostess stand and unfortunately there was some clutter. It wasn't as festive as the rest of the restaurant. Our table and a few others near by didn't quite get as nice of a view as others. The Christmas tea was delicious as were the scones and tea sandwiches. Our waiter wasn't as warm as the rest of the staff we interacted with. Overall we had a great experience.

The service at the Brown Palace is no longer white glove top notch. Over-priced for the experience and parking should be comped. I have lived in Denver all my life. A real disappointment.

Was amazing! We had a large group, and the staff was amazing! Especially the reservations manager, she contacted me multiple times and set us up in a wonderful table! Every thing was magical for my daughters ! 10 out of 10!

I had booked the tea for 6 people with the advertised price of $55 each. It was $75 dollars each so a little surprised.

First time ever…ambiance was amazing! Service 5 star. The tea, sandwiches and scones were delicious…the sweets…very average. Overall, a fun holiday experience…but pricy.
