                                        First and foremost, Brea was just perfect. We celebrated my birthday here and as someone who worked in fine dining, she didn't miss a step. We were in the "patio" dining area, which originally was a little too bright for the ambience I was hoping for, but Brea took care of it and turned some of the overheads off for us. She was always there when we needed her, but never hovered unnecessarily. Thank you for the memorable birthday (: The food was also super yummy, but even despite looking at the menu before arriving, there were so many delicious sounding options that it was hard to choose. I will be returning.

                                        Cozy southwestern flavors were delicious. The food was prompt and fresh. The crab were one of my favorites.

                                        Nice neighborhood establishment that has been in the area as long as we have. James is fabulous . When restaurants come and go, it's nice to see one remain this popular and satisfying .

                                        This has become our Christmas Eve tradition. Agave is run by the Sobel family and they are all there working at once. This was Jack Sobel’s creation almost 25 years ago and the dining experience he brings is outstanding. I had the swordfish that was on special and loved it. My wife had the scallops and they were outstanding. My kids all got the cayenne fried chicken and all swear it’s the best thing on the menu. We finished with Key lime Pie, chocolate torte, and of course the amazing flan. I would say this has become one of my favorite restaurants over the decades and I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants an all around awesome dining experience. Great for dates and meeting up with friends as well as family dinners. Don’t forget the tasty Margaritas!

                                        The restaurant has a nice ambiance. We were seated in the enclosed patio type area by the fireplace. We were the 1st customers for the evening, so not sure why we were not seated in the main dining area by the inside fireplace but it was fine. The issue was that under the cushions of the bench seating is dirty. You need to clean under there daily. Additionally, there were 2 dirty glasses on the shelf by the fireplace, above our heads that obviously had been there for some time unnoticed by restaurant staff.

                                        Patricia, Thanks for letting us know about the cushions on the patio. I reinforced our setup and cleaning protocol with the entire staff. As far as seating you, we rotate tables coming in with the servers. If you aren't happy with a certain table, we would be happy to move you somewhere else. As far as the glasses on the fireplace, we utilize large tea glasses as candles that should have been lit up and clean of soot from the fireplace.                                         First, I must say that last night‘s experience was truly enjoyable. I had a chance to sit down to dinner after a musical presentation with my music as a colleagues. One of the best parts about the evening was being able to invite them to Agave Restaurant Where the food is delicious, flavorful, fragrant, and aesthetically appealing. The staff was a gracious and accommodating. The comment that won the hearts of the people was, “as a trained chef, I only go to restaurants better than mine”. That comment made the head Chef and owner smile so, I’ll be back early next year to enjoy another wonderful experience at Agave restaurant.
