Located in the heart of the San Diego Zoo, Albert’s offers full-service dining where you can enjoy deck seating with the ambiance of a tropical waterfall. Patio seating not guaranteed!

The menu features a variety of unique dishes including seafood specialties, a variety of entrees, salads, sandwiches, and children’s options.

Join us for Weekend Brunch on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Valid San Diego Zoo Membership or admission ticket is required to dine in Alberts Restaurant.

18% Gratuity charge to be added to checks for parties of 7 or more.

Due to spacing restrictions, we cannot accommodate strollers inside the restaurant or on our patio, stroller parking is located right outside of Albert's Restaurant.

The food was excellent and the servers were so wonderful. We come to Albert‘s for special occasions and the day after Thanksgiving was a beautiful experience. Reservations are best during by holiday periods and Open Table is simple for us to use. Don’t miss Albert’s next time you go to the San Diego Zoo.

The location is nice, peaceful and quaint, and centrally located in the zoo area. Service is great. Food is freshly prepared just the way one requests it. We went for Thanksgiving and the special was delicious and very generous. The squash soup was out of this world! And I love that the reservations are now handled through OpenTable, much easier than trying to call them. Overall, it was a great experience (for the 2nd year in a row).

Atmosphere - especially attractive; Service - very accommodating; Servings - generous; Noise - loud but typical for a holiday with the exception that some like to compare their stories and raise their voices to do so. The overall experience was worth it. Altogether the staff and our waiter were courteous to a fault. On leaving we say Cheers! to that.

Perfect respite for our Zoo adventure! Glad we made a reservation and didn’t have to wait. Food was Surprisingly good!

The smoke tuna melt is my favorite. The drink and food are good. Definitely quality. We love to sit by the waterfall outdoors.

My husband and I are members of the zoo and eat at Albert’s almost once a week. We have always had great experience until today. I made a reservation for 6 adults accidentally not remembering that we have a 10 month old that would need a high chair making it 7. I inform the waitress of my mistake and she says ok that’s fine and we wait thinking that we’d be seated momentarily… 10 minutes roll by, I get up and ask the hostess what the status is of our table is because my diabetic father needed to eat soon or his sugar was going to drop and the hostess, Ariana, said she didn’t have any tables available, even though we had a reservation. So I look in the dining room and there are several tables next to one another that are open and I inform them of so and they say we can’t put them together horizontally because of the servers path, ok great how about putting them vertically… no we can’t do that either. Ok why is that. Because we can’t. But why I don’t understand. Because it’s against the wall… ok so are these other tables. Our manager won’t allow us to. Great go get your manager. Tara, the manager, comes up and i say I have a reservation, my dad’s sugar is dropping and we’ve now been waiting over 20 mins. I say it seems as though if there’s no cheeseburger button, they can’t make a cheeseburger. She gets SUPER HUFFY and says don’t talk about my staff that way. Well Tara, your hostess Ariana started with attitude with us so we are looking for a solution here. She says your table is being bussed and i walked away. When we were seated Mark the waiter changed our experience immediately, he was so attentive, he was the epitome of excellent customer service. He and the food were excellent. Your front of house staff and manager on duty need a serious lesson in customer service. When I asked Ariana about our table and told her about my dad’s sugar dropping she should have said I’m so sorry your tables not ready yet but can I get your guest some orange juice or something.
