We were really excited to eat here, but the food was quite underwhelming. I had the duck (barely warm with congealed sauce) and my partner the bison (meh but nothing special). For $40+ per entree you should get more!

The food was great but the waitress that we had was not my wife ask for some more bread and she said that if a reservation canceled she would bring us there bread and while we was sitting eating we noticed that the table next to us ask for bread from different waiter and he brought them more bread the way it supposed to be

What a wonderful experience! Definitely the best of the three dinners I had in Savannah. The server, Amanda, was so wonderful. Had an outstanding red wine selection by the glass. Had to try the alligator appetizer, which was excellent. The bison short rib was amazing. Wonderfully spiced and flavored. Made me wish I had cancelled my reservation the next night at another restaurant and gone back to try other dishes here. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Alligator soul was absolutely delightful. Hannah, our server, was so knowledgeable and entertaining in explaining all of the exotic dishes served that evening. Every dish was delicious. It is just that everything is so expensive.

Charlie our server was great. He is knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. The other servers were the same. They worked as a team. Our food was delicious and hot. We will return.

My husband and I celebrated his birthday with dinner at Alligator Soul, as we have done several times in the past when visiting Savannah. We started the evening by splitting the mushroom salad which was fantastic - so many different types of delicious mushrooms with a variety of greens. We both ordered the Brunswick Gumbo which was loaded with shrimp, andouille sausage, crispy frogs legs and pork all over rice in a spicy sauces. Delicious! Service was efficient and friendly. Highly recommended.

Every time we go there, we love it. This is one me of our favorite restaurants in Savannah. Great service, great food, great selection of drinks, extremely accommodating in every aspect! If they can, the answer has always been..let me talk to the manager (who’s great), the chef (whose passion and food knowledge results in exceptional dishes), or the wait staff (all have always gone above expectations). I can not recommend this restaurant any higher than I have! When you go to a good, really good restaurant, you want others to have the same expectations and experience. This restaurant will not disappoint.

Hands down the best dining experience in Savannah! Every morsel of every course was far beyond just an elevated dining experience. This place, this chef, the service, the ambiance....perfection! Next time I'm in Savannah....i WILL return!!
