Alter Bierhof is a medieval themed restaurant in the historic 1000 year old town of Bautzen. A building has stood here for an indeterminate length of time, and though the original burned in a fire, it was rebuilt in 1720. The view from the Alter Bierhof is also perfect for enjoying Bautzen's historic landmarks and the Oberlausitzer mountains. Alter Bierhof's menu is tailored to its medieval heritage and includes such delights as steak with peppers and roasted breast of capon. It serves vegetarian dishes and has a beer garden that, as of 2016, was recently awarded best in the region.

Empfehlenswert. Man sollte unbedingt reservieren und einen Tisch am Panoramafenster bestellen bzw. bei schönem Wetter natürlich draußen. Das Essen war sehr gut, ich hatte den "Bröselteppich"(Schnitzel), gefüllt mit Senf u.a. Werde wieder hingehen.

Ich war das 2. Mal in diesem Restaurant und war wieder sehr erfreut. Zuvorkommendes Personal, leckere Getränke und natürlich das leckere, geschmackvoll angerichtete Essen. Immer wieder gern, sehr zu empfehlen.

Es war prinzipiell perfekt. Nur die Zeit, bis das Essen kam, hat etwas lang gedauert - 1 Stunde ... aber das Essen selbst hat dann alles entschädigt, es war ausgezeichnet 👍

Es war ein sehr schöner Abend. Auf unseren Platzwunsch wurde eingegangen und wir durften direkt am Fenster sitzen. Der Service und das Essen waren sehr gut. Klare Empfehlung.
