Established in 2010, We take great pride in being Greenpoint’s first and only classic steak house. Our kitchen is a full two-stories, equipped with three refrigerators for beer, seafood, vegetables and steaks. Our state-of-the-art kitchen also boasts smokers, steamers and broilers on which the chef can cook multiple steaks at once. We look forward to serving our community of Greenpoint for many years.

We provide you a range of steak options from an eight-ounce filet mignon to a 48-ounce porterhouse (for two) in a cozy ambiance. An excellent selection of fish and seafood is also available. We have a fully-stocked bar, including an extensive wine and bourbon list. Enjoy your steak at Greenpoint’s first steak house.

                                                                                                                    I had been seeing this steakhouse all over Instagram and I wanted to try it out. It did not disappoint! We started with Old Fashioned's as our drinks. They brought us each a dinner roll, which was delicious. The bread was nice and soft with hints of garlic. Then we had the grilled bacon. So delicious! Two perfectly cooked slabs of bacon. We then had the porterhouse for two with a bales potato with butter and cheese, and some French fries. I will definitely come back again. The service was incredible.

                                                                                                                    Brooklyn lager tasted funky and stale, lack of carbonation Cream Spinach was dreadful, it was inedible Mashed Potatoes bland and served barely warm The Porterhouse for 2 was so disappointing. Despite being served in an avalanche of melted hot butter it was bland and lacking seasoning, ordered medium rare and got a medium well filet side and a rare strip side

                                                                                                                    We started with appetizers seared scallops over avacado mash, deliciously delicate, bacon was outstanding best tasting and tender, fried calamari fried to perfection, the Porterhouse was one of the best I've tasted, not overly seasoned and the aged beef wasn't pungent. Mashed patato side was again the best I've ever had. But the star of the show was the filet mignon with the seared frois gras. I've never had a filet mignon so tender, the frios gras was a buttery compliment to the filet. We finished off with carrot cake, specially baked for Amber Steakhouse only, a must for dessert.

                                                                                                                    The food was not ordered correctly - and the steak was served at the incorrect temperature! And when the steak was returned to the table it was just even more burnt on the outside and uncooked in the middle to the temperature required. I have waited a long time to come time to go to this steak house and at $400 it was a total waste of money and one of the worst food experiences I have had in the city in over 9 years! Even the dessert was at different temperatures throughout the dish

                                                                                                                    Definitely recommend this place. French onion soup was a perfect temperature and loaded with onion and cheese. Porterhouse for two is phenomenal. Lobster Mac & cheese was loaded with chunks. Finished off with the creme brûlée. The staff was attentive and gave great recommendations. Great ambiance. Definitely worth the price. Fantastic meal all around.
