Amoura is an Eastern Mediterranean restaurant inspired by the owners’ Palestinian heritage, and shaped by its location in Northern California. The cuisine incorporates dishes and ingredients from across the Middle East, Greece, and Turkey showcasing the many complementary flavors, ingredients, and cooking techniques used throughout this vibrant culinary region. Everything is prepared fresh from scratch daily using the highest quality produce, meats, and seafood available, including local and organic products whenever possible. With the Shihadeh family’s warm hospitality, a visit to Amoura is like being welcomed into their home for a family feast centered around good food and company.

The food was very average considering Bay Area have the best of Mediterranean places to dine . The locality of the restaurant dint make me feel safe as I saw so many homeless folks roaming around. The area around the restaurant was mostly run down . The orange juice we ordered tasted stale so I just left it ( the server did mention that it was fresh but they juiced it afternoon or so. But in that case he should have just suggested us not to order) . The strawberries in Salad as well in the dessert were mostly raw and bitter . Stuffed eggplant and rice was average as we have had far better at other places . The dessert was the most disappointing among all . It had flavor of cardamom( that was the sole reason I ordered this) but it was tasting so artificial and Intense that we left most of it . Overall not a very great experience. Servers were very polite and welcoming .Not worth the money definitely .

The new Moroccan chef outdid himself, with spiced sweet potatoes, a brand new mezze platter, lamb tagine, and much more. The lighting is perfect, the food is spectacular, the clientele very human and the charm of the place is fabulous.

A gem of a restaurant in S.San Francisco off of Grand Ave. Fantastic hand made pita and potato bread with delicious main entrees. Low key but hospitable ambiance with good servers.

Went for Valentine’s Day and wow such a great experience. The 5 course prefixed menu was on point. I’ll definitely be back to try their regular menu.

What an amazing Valentine’s Day experience. The food was absolutely amazing. 5’s across the entire board. Presentation, taste, ambient, wine taste, all of it was amazing and I can’t wait to come back.

This is simply the best Mediterranean restaurant in the Bay Area. Everything is made fresh. The hummus is the best I've ever had--made in house. The have a full bar if you want to drink with your meal. Their kebabs are all excellent. You get a nice Mediterranean salad and saffron rice with two kebabs, all reasonably priced. The spinach and prawn salad is excellent, as is the Cesar. The flat breads are delicious, as is the beef and lamb burger. Try it out!
