   . was seated and the waitperson was over quickly but stood in awkward silence then asked to take our main order, we hadn't even looked at the menu. After some time he came back for our drink order. The cucumber based cocktail was very good. We ordered the mushroom appetizer, well prepared and flavorful. For entree I had the lobster ravioli, it was very good, but the portion was small (only 5 small ones on the plate). I was still hungry after my meal. My guest had the veal Marsala, it was well prepared and the portion size of that entree was sufficient. Overall the quality of the food was great, but the service had definite gaps in it. Our waitperson passed us by several times without checking and lacked any charisma. Hard to describe, but we felt like we were a nuisance. Maybe it was just a bad day for that person, I suppose we all have those.

   Service was very slow. We waited in excess of an hour after ordering until our food arrived.

   We always enjoy Antonio’s. It’s our go to place for celebrations and also for a nice, quiet dinner.

   Antonio’s used to be my ‘go to’ dinner destination. Sadly, no more. Something has changed. The staff seemed less gracious as opposed to my previous visits. Our server got our order order wrong. The salad portion seemed about half the size compared to previous visits. I generally don’t post negative comments. I felt this may have been just an off night. However, a friend that I recommended Antonio’s to, had a similar experience subsequent to my visit. Consequently, I’ll be reluctant to recommend Antonio’s going forward. I’ll be willing to give Antonio’s another shot in the future. I’ll keep an eye on future comments.

   The food and services was exceptional. Some in our party have allergies and the management and staff at Antonio’s made sure the food was tailored to their needs. Outstanding service and food!

   We had a great dinner last night at Antonio’s.. it’s been a while since I’ve eaten here due to the distance otherwise, this would be my go to Italian restaurant. Our waiter Miguel made the dinner even better with his great service. The calamari and stuffed mushrooms were very good. The Veal Parmesan was as great as I remembered it, and the fettuccine Alfredo was amazing. I highly recommend Antonio’s if you’re looking for a great Italian restaurant ! You won’t be disappointed.

    Great Italian restaurant in Maitland, Florida. Food, atmosphere, and service were all excellent. We will definitely return to this restaurant in the future.
