The most beautiful waterfront restaurant in Duck on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, offering fresh regional cuisine in a casual, yet elegant setting. Now in our 16th season, we applaud our outstanding staff for their commitment to providing an exceptional experience for every AQUA guest.

Our Chef creates exquisite specialty dishes using locally caught fish and seafood, locally farmed seasonal ingredients, and all-natural meats. Carefully chosen innovative wine, craft beer, and cocktail lists perfectly complement Chef’s savory creations. Our desserts are made in house from the freshest ingredients, so it’s okay to try all of them!

We enjoyed our dinner here - crab dip appetizer might have been the highlight of the meal. We both had the fish specials and they were good. Good service.

We have been dining at Aqua for many years. We enjoy the consistency we have here, as far as food and service. Dinner was very good, we both had the Wahoo special. The fish was a bit overcooked , and the crab dip wasn’t as good as we remembered. The flu shot martinis were delicious. We were disappointed in the key lime pie for dessert, but their regular baker wasn’t available, we were told. Our server, JR, was very attentive. We’ll be back!

They were able to adjust our reservations when we found we were running late. Perfect table with wonderful sound view. Waitress very friendly and took our order quickly. Relaxing lunch, not fast service but enough contact we didn’t feel forgotten. Fresh brewed tea. They created a bowl of fresh fruit for my granddaughter. Fish dish was great.

Great views of the sound at sunset! It was a family dinner, but the food was just okay which surprised me at that price point. The shrimp and grits were tasty, but I have had a bigger serving and better tasting at that price point. Crab cakes were delicious, but the sautéed vegetables tasted a bit undercooked. My daughter had a Caeser salad and fries which were pretty standard fare. However, the dessert was pretty amazing though—key lime pie and peanut butter pie. I’ll definitely always come back for cocktails, but I don’t know if I’d return for dinner.

The food, view, and service are always amazing. The corn and crab soup is one of the best dishes on the OBX.
