Atwater's is a waterfront, intimate, fine dining experience in Geneva, IL. Our Executive Chef locally sources our menu and creates classical dishes with a modern touch. Our seasonal menu offers recipes that are nuanced to include ingredients that are at their peak of freshness. Atwater's offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner 7 days a week. Enjoy beautiful water and courtyard views, private dining space, and al fresco dining on our patio in season. Atwater's offers afternoon tea quarterly. We are nestled within The Herrington Inn, which is also a wedding venue, boutique hotel, spa, and corporate meeting venue. Open to the public and hotel guests, 365 days.

                                    I really enjoyed the Valentine's Day specials. The sea bass, strawberry salad and Cupid's Arrow drink were all wonderful. My husband had the Atwater's salad, lobster tail risotto which were also delicious. Renee was great, along with the service from the entire staff. We enjoyed the intimate atmosphere.

                                    Wonderful dinner! Best Filet in past year! Special Valentine menu. Strawberry salad-delightful. Surprise of the night was the beignets! Fabulous, untraditional with a pitcher of hot caramel sauce to pour over them. Renee and Rose made sure it was a “lovely “ ❤️ evening!

                                    We had not eaten here in a few years and it was exactly as wonderful as we remember it being. Food is amazing, setting is quaint and intimate and service is amazing. Everyone here is just spectacular. So glad we spent our early Valentine's dinner here.

                                    We came during lunch and the place was empty. We were greeted by a friendly hostess and seated right on time. The ambiance was sort of late 19th century but very cool and unique. The service was good and the food was tasty too. I’d return again when in the area for lunch or dinner. Thank you.
