Opened in 2014 to a 4.5 Star review from the Baltimore Sun, Azumi is located on Baltimore's Inner Harbor in the elegant Four Seasons Hotel. With picturesque panoramic waterfront views, Azumi offers authentic Japanese cuisine with a strong focus on sushi matched with an amazing "hot kitchen." Azumi's Sake and Japanese Whiskey program is one of the largest in the region. Named the city's best Japanese restaurant by Baltimore Magazine, Azumi is also one of the hottest spots for nightlife in the city featuring a live DJ on weekends. Enjoy outdoor dining on our expansive patio. Outside seating can be requested but not guaranteed.

Azumi’s highly-skilled teppanyaki / hibachi chefs are on display in our new FLAME ROOM as they cook the highest-quality meats, seafood, vegetables & rice on a solid-surface iron griddle right before your eyes in this intimate & interactive dining experience.

Our Omakase counter is an interactive tasting course; Sitting at the Omakase counter is an educational & fun experience that does not exist at any other restaurant in the Baltimore area. Azumi serves a Nigiri-sushi exclusive “Omakase” menu consisting of approximately 18 courses with Premium ingredients. We source our fish and shellfish globally, with a special focus on Japan. The menu is priced at $225 at the Sushi Counter starting at 6:30 on the first Wednesday of each month. This event is limited to 10 seats, pairs or singles. RESTRICTIONS: Due to our style of cuisine, there will be minor restrictions that we cannot accommodate, including vegan, non-seafood eater, and gluten intolerance who cannot have regular soy sauce in cooking.

Had an amazing experience at Azumi. Excellent service, food was delicious and came out extremely fast. Drinks were👎🏾. Ambiance was excellent. This was a great way to celebrate V day. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Husband and I came on Valentine’s Day and due to the absolute debacle of the valet / parking situation I checked in on time and my husband was 15 min late trying to park. Host stand was very nice and friendly. We were seated immediately after my husband argued and our waitress was fantastic. The clearing of plates and water refills was so much, it was excessive and obtrusive. Food was good. We had the tuna tarte, crispy rice, yakisobo noodles and some sushi dishes. Everything was good specifically the sushi. Portions were small and for the cost, I’d lean towards saying it was over priced. Ambiance was super loud but great music. The staff gave roses to all ladies however I never got one which was kinda disappointing. Overall it was good but think I’d prefer to go to the bar and get some saki and rolls verses an entire dinner.

Kai was an excellent manager...we went for Vday and everything was amazing even with the holiday crowd!

We made a reservation requesting a booth for intimacy as we were trying to celebrate. We reminded the staff on two different occasions. When we got there we were put in an area with other guests with tables right next to each other. So close that our neighboring guests were listening in on our conversation and also making comments about the closeness of the tables. We requested a booth again, as other guests were having the same issue. Other guests were accommodated however unfortunately for us we were not. The food was ok, not a lot of flavor. The branzino was fresh though, the wagyu fried rice was good. The drinks were great. Our waiter was knowledgeable and made great suggestions. Overall, we came in with high expectations and left pretty disappointed.

My favorite Japanese restaurant in Baltimore. Authentic prawn tempura, delicious rib-eye steak (no need to get the wagyu).

Service was great, cocktails were top notch (Japanese whisky old fashioned and espresso martini) and wine selection was great. The food was incredible- fresh, well prepared, next level sushi, fish and steak. Can't wait to go back.

Ambiance, decor, and service were great. The yellow tail tataki was delicious. I was disappointed that they do not make they're own tamago (I assumed it would have been based on the price).

I’m very impressed! We had a terrific dinner and drinks at this bustling hotspot. The host greeted us with a genuine smile, we were seated within 5 minutes of our reservation, our food was fantastic and reasonably priced, and our server was terrific. He was attentive but not on top of us. This is a very pretty restaurant and it would be easy to want to visit for a lite bite or cocktail, as well as for a full dinner.
