                                                                                                The kitchen at Back Burner always impresses. The wine selection is very good and prices reasonable. Service took a while to ramp up but was excellent once it did. BB is a regular standout for us and it was nice to bring an out of town couple here to try it out.

                                                                                                A enjoyable place for lunch. Heard they were known for their pumpkin mushroom soup, was not disappointed, would highly recommend it! Look forward to returning for either lunch/dinner.

                                                                                                Last night my husband and I had dinner with his daughter and her husband at Back Burner. It was wonderful! The restaurant is well-decorated, casual, but also beautiful, and the music was just right, not too loud, which is the usual case. Ricky, our waiter, was eager to serve us, and he arrived at our table on the ball. He brought us delicious rolls and good water. We ordered crab cakes, rockfish, and rib-eye steak. All four of us ordered the soup that the restaurant is famous for--pumpkin-mushroom. Wow! We all agreed it was delicious.

                                                                                                Another very nice meal at the Back Burner. We are always amazed that the Back Burner has stayed so consistently delicious for so many years. We went with another couple for a pre-New Years Eve dinner (it was a Monday night) and all of us ordered the surf and turf special which included a 4 oz filet and one of their large crabcakes. The filet was delicious, but the crabcake fell a little short on taste - there was plenty of crabmeat, but not a lot of flavor. Our server was great - Diane - who has been there for years and always does a great job. We will, of course, be back for hopefully many more wonderful times here.

                                                                                                It was our first Christmas Eve in town, and we wanted a quaint and local place with amazing food. We haven't been to Back Burner in some a couple years, but in my search, I noticed they were open for C.Eve. I made us reservations right away. It was the perfect place for our Christmas Eve dinner. The menu was a special holiday selection, so it was simple, but still had a nice variety of options to satisfy any taste we had (from steak to seafood to pasta). The service was amazing and the food was delicious. Not only will we return, but we would spend our holiday here again if the opportunity arose. Thank you for taking such great care of us!

                                                                                                Service was excellent, Angela, the hostess was courteous and meticulous with our purchase of gift cards (She was very competent). Even though we had to wait for a while, we were lucky to have Lizzy as our waitress. She was friendly, attentive and efficient to place our orders and we had our food in no time. The mushroom soup was excellent this time, not too salty like before and not too sweet. The salmon and the shrimps were delicious. Wish that the menu was not that limited. All in all this is a neighbourhood gem to have a meal. Thank you again for the good service, Lizzy and Angela.
