                      The food was excellent but service horrible!! It started upon arrival that hostess could not find the confirmed reservation and I told her my name four times and she kept reading back other names to me. I know my name and it was not going to change no matter how many names she read to me. It could have been easily resolved if she read the confirmation I was trying to show her! she did not even look at it! During dinner the manager, who was rude, asked if we had a reservation! The meal came incorrectly and I repeated to the waiter four times what was wrong he seemed not to understand English do we asked for the manager and he came and was very rude ! Had to ask for the bread basket prior to the meal as well as water refills. And to boot the restaurant adds an obligatory 18% tip on the bill. It’s probably obligatory as they are most likely aware of the poor service and people probably showed their disappointment in service with poor tips. If you don’t mind bad service and can deal with that for a well priced good meal (rib eye was excellent) the it’s a great option. They need a capable manager without a rude attitude and the restaurant could be a five, but it’s filled with tourists so they feel successful. It’s the locals that have the problem of having to select between good food and bad service or go somewhere else !

                      The food was good. The meat was a little chewy, but the mashed potatoes and the Dulce de Leche Crepe was delicious. Our server Aldana was very personable and professional. My only complaint is that Baires is a fairly nice place and people are allowed in with beach clothes and only half dressed. If they were sitting outside it'd be fine but not inside the restaurant. Most people dress up for a Saturday night dinner, and there were people inside that should have been at McDonalds.

                      Really enjoyed the experience dining at the bar. Lovely bartender offered great Malbec suggestion. Also arrived right before happy hour ended so was able to take advantage of the espresso martini, spinach empanadas and truffle fries at happy hour prices, and the latter two were served later with my steak. Really nice touch. Would highly recommend for such great hospitality.

                      It’s always a pleasure to come back. Love the food, service is relaxed, table and furniture recently renewed. Beautiful quartz table and French bistro style chairs outdoor terrace make a nice environment. Kids friendly, my children love to dine at Baires grill

                      Just superb traditional Argentinean food, great appetizers, our favourite one was the cheese and anions empanadas, for second course we chose the Baires plate, is a little bit of everything meat, the meat was cooked to perfection, and dessert was probably the best in town, we tried the “hot and cold cup” and the “almendrado”, we planing to come back and try the pasta next time.
