Bar Frites is open daily and serves French bistro fare.
The menu offers Bistro fare including great comfort food dishes and the classics. The Burgers, Steak Frites, Croque Monsieur and Steamed Mussels served with pomme frites are also among the fan favorites. Some of the Bistro Classics include Escargot, a Frisée and Lardons Salad and Sautéed Skate. Any night of the week can be unique with the Plats du Jour featuring Bouillabaisse, Côte de Boeuf and Coq au Vin to name a few. So whatever the mood or taste, one is sure to find culinary pleasure and comfort at Bar Frites.

Restaurant will be open for outdoor dining for walk-ins only.

The food is always very good however the service was not up to par The server was not attentive and the noise level was very loud

Mediocre. French dip was served cold, which was odd to us. We requested a booth which wasn’t accommodated and noted via OpenTable that we were celebrating an anniversary, which was not acknowledged by anyone. It was fine but not rushing to return. (Also had to ask for bread, which we thought odd because others had it on the table.) Crab cake and trout were delicious though, as was lava cake.

Restaurant was surprisingly busy at 12:00 pm Table was nice and comfortable We had a booth Waiter was friendly and attentive Food was good I had a salad and they brought me dressings on side I had to ask for bread which the waiter willing brought I enjoyed my Bloody Mary

Always a delight. Food, Service and Environment. Poll Restaurants have the "right formula". Incidentally a "super negroni"

We had a very good dinner at Bar Frites. We arrived on time and we were seated immediately. Our server came over quickly to greet us and give us menus. We ordered and our food came “fairly” quickly. (The restaurant was busy). Our food was delicious and well prepared. We enjoyed the food and the ambiance of Bar Frites. It’s a lovely restaurant and a 1st class place. ⭐️👍⭐️👍😎👀

It’s so disappointing that Bar Frites has extensively curtailed its menu. Seems like they’ve cut about quarter of the dishes from the dinner menu, a lot of them French classics, like the foie gras mousse, frisée salad and omelette. Provençale pizza is gone too, sadly, as are the short rib sliders. Menu is just pretty basic now. They execute it competently and the service is usually attentive.

Love Bar Frites. Food is always really good. Service is top notch. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

Hamburger was raw. Size of hamburger was downsized and cost $25. Not even the size of a McDonald’s Quarter Pounder. Server after he delivered the food - disappeared. Noise was deafening. Have been going to Bar Frites for many years and have noticed a difference and not in a good way.

The place was insanely crowded and loud. Why would they put a table for 2 right in the middle between 3 very large tables of teenage girls? But it’s not about that. It’s about my dinner arriving and within 2 minutes of the plate hitting the table I took my first bite which included a very long course hair wrapped around the fish on my fork. Obviously I sent it back. I did not make a scene. Then the manager came over and said these words to me that he has no idea how the hair could have gotten in my food because “everyone in the kitchen wears hats and no one has that color hair”. I asked what he meant by that but he would not elaborate. To me that implied he accused me of somehow planting my own hair inside my own food. To what end? We immediately paid the check (which was not comped) and will never return. Despicable.
