We had rib eye steaks with whiskey peppercorn sauce. They were delicious and cooked beautifully! Matt was on top of the service and kept our wine glasses full. It was a good dinner and experience for a mid-week dinner.

We ordered the BBQ chicken and it was the tiniest serving of chicken I had ever seen. I think there were 6 bits, and it was $45! It didn't taste like BBQ and was not very tender. On the menu many vegetable were listed as accompaniments for the chicken. We were picturing something large. There were just a couple of each item mentioned. We saw plates coming out of the kitchen, a salad in particular, that was huge. This made us think our dinner would be a good size. Not the case. We started by sharing the Caesar salad, which was excellent. We had chicken adde to it. I think it's fair to say that the chicken on the salad was a bigger portion than the chicken dinner we ordered to share. We told the server that we thought the chicken was very small. She told us that organic chickens run small. Our friends who joined us for dinner ordered two pizzas. They took a long time to come to the table, along with our chicken. Both pizzas were not hot and had obviously been sitting under a warmer for a while. Our chicken was not terribly warm either. Our friend complained about his pizza and the server took it off the bill. My husband was still hungry when we left the restaurant so we had to stop and get him a burger on the way home. This was an expensive dinner, which wouldn't have been a huge deal if we were pleased with the food, but we were definitely not.

It was nice to see the renovations but the best upgrade since our last visit was hiring Martine, an amazing server! I dare say probably one of the best in Truckee — anywhere. We will definitely be back and hopefully be seated in his section!

Outstanding food as always. The Ahi Nacho’s are the best we’ve ever had anyplace. Amy is the best and makes our lunch fun as well as good.
