Bardi’s Steak House is a single unit, traditional steakhouse, owner operated since 1966. We are located in Toronto’s theatre and financial districts, adjacent to the Fairmont Royal York Hotel, and steps from Metro Toronto Convention Centre, Rogers Centre, and Scotiabank Centre. Over the years Bardi’s has developed an international reputation for quality food and exceptional service; Serving only "Certified Angus Beef" TM, naturally aged, cut and trimmed on premise. Fresh Atlantic salmon, chicken and ribs are also available. We offer an extensive wine list and are the recipient of Wine Spectator Magazine “Award of Excellence” since 1994.

Fully enjoyed dinner at Bardi’s. Service was tremendous. Great steaks with potatoes and vegetables and couple glasses of wine. Superb all round.

The steak was very charred and had a lot of very tough fat and gristle, which should not be present in a filet. I had to spit out almost a quarter of my steak because I couldn’t chew it. The server also attempted to gaslight me into thinking I didn’t order Brussels sprouts even though I certainly remember ordering them.

My husband and I were incredibly excited to try this hidden gem of a steakhouse on New Year's even; unfortunately, we were severely disappointed. 1) We were served burnt garlic toast to start. This toast was visibly burnt and I'm confused as to why the cook and waiter would even allow it to land on our table. We overlooked this as the bread is complimentary and we were one of their first tables of the night. "It's just bread, no biggie". 2) We then, proceeded to wait for 1 hour and 15 mins for our steaks, without being provided any updates as to what the delay was due to. At first we thought "this must be normal, they're really marinading the steaks and it will be delicious". We were sadly hit with reality when the table behind us (who was seated about 40 mins AFTER us) got their starter within 5 mins of sitting down and their entree within approximately 35 mins. 3) Once we actually received our food - It was tasteless, the steak was too charred on the outside, it did not have any seasoning and the baked potato wasn't fully cooked. It was evident the wait staff was ignoring us to some degree and we didn't want to kick up a fuss, so we didn't say anything. 4) My husband asked for a virgin Mojito; the waiter said "No problem"; the bartender quickly said that wasn't possible and didn't even offer an alternative. 5) This next incident is a health + safety and courtesy issue - - The bartender opened a bottle of wine and misdirected the bottle opening towards our table. The wine top SHOT directly at our table, skimmed my husband's face, hit my hand and landed on the floor. In the grand scheme of things, this could be laughed off, but the bartender and wait staff just looked at this with a blank expression, didn't apologize or acknowledge what had just happened. One of us could have gotten hurt, but thankfully we weren't. Truly, a simple "Oh no, we're sorry!" would have been find and we would have had a chuckle, but this in addition to everything else was a NO.

My family came to celebrate my birthday on a Saturday night before heading to the leafs game versus the Islanders. overall it was an outstanding experience with great food, ambience, and amazing service from waiter Jaime. My daughter and I shared a Bardi bone in ribeye, which was cooked to perfection. I love the fact that despite being full one could easily talk to everybody at the table without having to yell. It was perhaps my best experience of the year, and I will be back!
