We had the most delightful brunch at Lake Park, celebrating my mom’s birthday. We had a lovely table and felt so welcomed by everyone there. The drinks and food were absolutely delicious and we were pleased with the options and nice-sized portions of the courses. You can’t beat a 3 course fine dining brunch in a beautiful setting for this price. We always enjoy our dinners at the bar at LPB, and we’ll be bringing friends back for brunch again soon. Also, cheers to whoever did the holiday decor, it’s just lovely. Thank you for a wonderful birthday celebration, my mom loved it!

Everything was wonderful. From being greeted at the door to sitting and enjoying a cup of coffee at the end. The service was outstanding, the ambience as always enchanting.

As always, my wife and I enjoyed a delightful anniversary dinner at Lake Park Bistro. We ate at the bar, which is a very convivial experience. The food was delicious. The service was friendly and professional, a little slow because the bartenders were very busy. No problem, though. All in all, another wonderful experience at Lake Park Bistro.

The only negative is the noise level. Seated at a table for two I at times struggled to her my wife's conversation.

Kate provided excellent, timely service, with an eye to every detail. The filet au poivre and duck confit were perfectly cooked. Additionally, the Manhattan ranks among the best I’ve tasted.

Very pleasant experience with Sunday brunch—service was excellent and the views of Lake Michigan were outstanding. While the brunch menu is somewhat limited, the offerings were well prepared. This was our first experience with the brunch and I wish we had been forewarned about the special menu—thought that I had done due diligence re the menu on Open Table, but it was very different. I do recommend this restaurant.

We come very frequently to LPB because we have consistently good experiences. We didn't have a bad experience this time per se, but two things could have been better. First, I ordered the goat cheese tart which I have had several times before. This time, the bottom crust was so tough that I could barely cut it with a knife. A knife, by the way, that was taken from me after my salad course and was not replaced, so I had to borrow one from another table because our server was not in sight. Literally I could barely cut the crust, it nearly went flying off the plate from the force I needed to use to try to break it...I sent it back. Secondly, I was celebrating my birthday tonight. When the server asked for dessert orders, I ordered the profiteroles which I was very excited about. When the dessert finally arrived, she brought the chocolate torte instead. When I told her I had ordered the profiteroles she said that they were coming after and this was the "comped" birthday dessert. Well, I didn't want TWO desserts...I just wanted my profiteroles. C'mon LPB. Really? You can't just give the birthday girl the dessert she actually wants? For the amount of money we have spent over the years there it seems a little outrageous not to give the customer the preferred dessert. It would have been better not to bring a "free" one at all.
