   Food was very good. Service was excellent. The only problem was had was the water. It tasted awful. When we spoke to the server about it, he acknowledged that they were aware of the problem and that it was a city issue. He then offered us bottled water. It would have been better if that had simply been provided from the start rather than waiting until we complained.

   Temperature in restaurant was very cool, and we had to keep our jackets on for most of the meal. The tap water quality was low. When we mentioned to the waiter, he was aware and stated that they had been having issues with the water all evening (but they served it to us anyway). We ordered a sparkling water for the table. The shrimp appetizer and salad were tasty. Steak was under cooked, sent back, and then arrived burnt 🔥.

   If you’re looking for a semi upscale place to eat, this place is great! Their food is a little pricey but once you get it in front of you the portion and quality is perfect for the price tag.

   We were seated next to an extremely loud birthday celebration and eventually moved to the bar area. I’ve been here multiple times in the past and always enjoyed the experience. I ordered the shrimp tacos, which I thought were subpar, not even warm. The tortillas were cold/stale, the shrimp quality was poor and tasted like they had just been taken out of the freezer and microwaved. I will go back as our family always likes coming here and this was the first experience that wasn’t great..

   Not as good as previous experience at Baxters. Prime rib was delicious- just not prepared to order. Medium plus does not equate to red cold center, that’s rare/raw! Unfortunately the server didn’t check until we had eaten all we could of the cap and outer edge.

   My wife and I celebrated Valentine’s Day on February 14, 2025. We both ordered the surf and turf (steak and lobster) from the special valentine menu which included baked potatoes and asparagus, as well as a salad. Both steak and lobster were a good size and were very succulent. As an appetizer we had baked goat cheese with garlic crostinis. It was also very delicious. The ambience was fitting for the occasion and the service was good. Overall we had a great dining experience.

   It was a very nice evening and our server was very good. The food was also very good. Our only question, which we did not inquire about, was a “corkage fee” of $15 added to our bill since we did purchase a bottle of wine. I’m pretty sure we have not seen this charge in any other restaurant unless you brought your own bottle of wine and had the server open it for you. Other than that it was a very nice evening.

    Upon arrival, we were seated right away and before our reservation time. The waiter was prompt and very social and met all demands that the job requires and even made suggestions since this was our first time at this eatery. Menu was split up nicely per category and easy to read. The cocktails were mixed appropriately and with perfection. Food was ordered and salads were brought out, and the main entries did not arrive until we were finished with our salads, that's huge since normally your table is so congested with plates it's difficult to eat maneuvering around plates. Food arrived, and presentation was great. The taste of the food was very flavorable and was cooked the way we ordered. We will be returning to this eatery again, reservation is highly recommended, casual dress attire.
