A favorite among locals in Newport Beach since 1999, located just steps away from Balboa Island. Owned and operated by the Ghoukassian family known for focusing on the art of dining. Dinner is served nightly with weekly specials including the Steakhouse Thursday Menu and Prime Rib Sunday Dinner!
Start the weekend with MARTINI FRIDAYS from 3-6pm in the bar & lounge then end the weekend with the ever popular Champagne Sunday Brunch!
Bayside boasts one of the town’s favorite bars and lounges with live music nightly and Sunday Brunch. Come dine on the patio overlooking Newport Harbor or enjoy a spot tucked away in the dining room for an experience second-to-none.

                                                                                                                                This is an excellent place to dine in an upscale, special way. The food was very good, the service was attentive and courteous, the room was large and nicely, classically appointed. There was some lovely background jazz musicians playing tunes which added to the ambience. Certainly plan to return after this our first visit.

                                                                                                                                I think the best thing about Bayside is the jazz ensemble. Last night there was a singer doing popular songs accompanied by a pianist and a drummer. The next best thing is the food. My date had the rack of lamb. She let me have a taste and it was excellent as always. I usually get the lamb, but this time had the Duroc pork chop. This is my new favorite. The sauce was very nice. It didn't overwhelm, just a nice accompaniment. Oh, and complimentary valet parking.

                                                                                                                                My husband had a chicken breast and it was great. I ordered a Crab Louie salad and it was large but I couldn’t find any pieces of crab or lobster. There were 3 shrimp but no sauce for it. The salad had lots of chunks of lettuce. It was very disappointing.

                                                                                                                                We came here for Sunday brunch. They had live music and it wasn’t busy at all. The food was delicious. The chicken entree is incredible. So much flavor. I don’t normally order chicken but the lemon sauce on the menu was calling my name. So in all honesty you can hardly taste the lemon sauce, it’s pretty bland but who cares because the chicken and spinach is flavored so well.. 10 out of 10. Yum!
