   My partner and I loved the food, the fried chick peas were to die for. The whole experience was amazing, will definitely be coming back here again.

   Great place to grab lunch and a drink while shopping on State Street. The menu has a nice variety of options, service is good, and the restaurant is comfortable. We were a party of 6, a mix of kids and adults, and everyone enjoyed their lunch choice.

   The receptionist claimed they did not have our reservation. Fortunately they had an open space, yet why do we bother making reservations if the restaurant doesn’t know????

   We made a reservation on open table but when we arrived early the hostess had us waiting outside to be seated even though there were over 5 table for four available. Later, a party of 3 walks up and the hostess seats them right away. Still waiting patiently with multiple tables open outdoors and indoors, we finally get seated after 25 min. At that same time 3 other parties show up and they get seated right away without a wait in line. This was so bizarre. We were a part of four 2 adults and 2 kids (15 & 9 year old) . We get to our table and we have no utensils at the table, but they served us calimari . We had to wait longer for the utensils after the waitress distributed it to all the others that got seated after us as we were placed in the back by the door to the bathrooms. The food was good and we enjoyed a glass of wine and made the best of the night as we didn’t want the initial encounter spoil the rest of the evening for us as we had travelled From LA area and had chosen to eat there out of all the possible options off State street. We hope that no one else experiences this unwelcoming experience.

   This is my second time here, and probably my last. We sat outside, and it was lovely. Our server was sweet. The food was not amazing, although, the Brussels sprouts were. The cocktails were ok, but the sprite was flat. When my friend asked for a fresh one, that was flat as well. My food (salad with salmon) was fine. Not terrible, not delicious. My friend got the tri tip, and was not really enjoying it much. As We we’re close to the end of our meal, i took a bite, with food still on my plate, a server (not ours) pounced over and cleared our plates. That is my pet peeve. Let us finish. Not really impressed with any part of this place.

   We were a table of 8. One of our friends never got food, then she ordered a beer and that never came. We told waitress over and over we were in a hurry cause we were going to a concert. Took her 5-7 minutes to bring us the check when she said she would bring right away. Then she automatically added an 18% tip on the bill. Lucky her, guarantee it would not have been 18%
