   I hope yesterday was an exception to the normal experience at Benihana's. I do want you all to have better experiences! We made reservations and arrived 10 minutes prior. There were no parking spots available and as soon as one opened there was a frenzy to get to those. We paid our $8 valet fee and went in. Found the car was left unlocked when we returned. We check in a bit early and about 35 minutes later we asked if we could wait in the bar since we had not been called. We ordered a few drinks and were called/texted 15 minutes later. We were then asked to wait in a spot. 15/20 minutes later we were escorted to our table. About an hour after our reservation time we could finally sit down. One thing that creeped me out was a staff member picking up dirty dishes and with the same hand touching our food. Also our plates were dirty; we did ask for clean ones and they were never brought. I think the staff tried hard to make our experience fun, but the overwhelming lack of respect for the time and health just make me not want to return.

   Benihana is a fun experience. The taste of the food isn’t all that great. It’s more for experience. You spend about 60-70 a person. Is it worth it? If you’re going in a group and want the experience and funny jokes the cook throws at you. Their happy hour is better for value, but overall it’s more a place I’d frequent more than once a year

   Server was great. Cook was entertaining. Steak was overcooked!! - Both mine and my wife's steak were almost well done; we ordered medium rare. Her chicken was way over cooked as well and her steak was very fatty. I think the grill was turned up too hot. We paid for Filet and Scallops combo and a steak and chicken c ombo, which comes with mushrooms, but cook gave away a bunch of mushrooms to two noodle entree people who were not to get any mushrooms. And we were provided servings first, and all were lagging compared to the last couple people who only order noodle entrees. We did not complain about small portions of muchrooms and small portions of other veggies. Also Prices are sky high!! $30 brirthday coupon previously covered a Rocky's Choice meal (which was $28); now Rocky's Choice meal has increased to $46. Coupon should also increase. Not sure if we will ever go here again. Perhaps if B-day coupon is increased to $50. Everything steak combo meal has gone up $20 or more, so then coupon should go up $20.

   Typical Benihana experience...food great..it's noisy cus a lot going on with several teppan stations going at the same time. Always fun.

    This is by far the dirtiest Benihana I have ever been to. Multiple tables went un-bussed for at least 45 minutes while a lobby full of guests waited for tables. The bar area was a dirty and messy as the dining room. Guests with reservations waited anywhere from 45 minutes to 2 hours after their reservation times. Our server and chef were great and the food quality was decent but I will not return to this location.
