Founded in 2006, the family owned and operated Benjamin Restaurant Group has grown to comprise some of the New York metro areas premier culinary destinations. Now, they bring the glory straight to the heart of Westchester County. Offering exceptional food and service in luxurious environments, owners Benjamin Prelvukaj and Benjamin Sinanaj make it their mission to treat each guest like a member of their family. Benjamin Steakhouse offers juicy cuts of dry-aged beef-from 36-ounce Porterhouses to juicy, tender Ribeyes and succulent Filet Mignon. White Plains' dècor may look familiar to those who have dined at their Manhattan location with their signature dark wood floors, banquette seating, and burgundy booths in tow. The main dining room will also feature an oversized fireplace-a signature of Benjamin Steakhouse from day one.     My wife and I went to dinner at the steakhouse yesterday. It was our second time there in the past few months. On this visit the place was VERY crowded. This probably explains why the service we received was not as attentive as in the past and our steak for 2 was not as hot as it should have been. I’d go back, but would aim for a less busy night. This place is expensive, so I don’t want to be jammed into a small area or deal with less than exemplary service.

    Not worth the money. You can get better steak for much cheaper somewhere else.

    Great lunch in front of fireplace! Very cozy. Arby, our waiter, was efficient and friendly. Can’t wait to come back for another wonderful meal.

    Went here on Valentine's day 2025. The place is packed with hundreds of couples (didn't expect it to be like that). Car park is full, valet line is long. The line to check in is all the way to the door (prob 20 couples waiting to be seated in front of us). Got there for our 8:30 dinner reservation but we weren't seated until 45 mins later. Our waiter is the worse, did not ask if what we want to drink, forgot to bring bread to our table, the tea that we ordered, never once checked if we need anything. It's a prix fixe dinner menu, but he never brought our dessert. Really disappointed with the service. The poor service suppressed the excitement of the occassion and satisfaction of having a cook to perfection steak. If not for the service, I will be savoring the nice crustiness on the outside, and the tender and juicy inside, and flavor of Benjamin's steak.

    My husband and I were excited to go to Benjamin’s on Valentine’s day and were greatly disappointed. We arrived to chaos. As we entered the door there was immediate confusion, people asking where the lines began and ended, and staff not acknowledging anyone, really. I walked up to the desk, to be ignored completely by staff, and told by another customer that there was a wait behind him… we waited for about 20 minutes beyond our reservation time, and then another 15 minutes after we finally checked in, with an interested hostess, by the way. We waited for our drink order, food order, and check for an unreasonable amount of time. I thought, this place is so busy the food must be amazing. I was wrong. The beautiful cut of steak was unseasoned, a plate of mashed potatoes that seemed out of a box. Our server was negligent. For a $500 dinner, we couldn’t have been more disappointed.

    This place was an absolute zoo on Valentine’s Day. Check in was in the lobby where you were pushed around by waiters and constant disrespectful patrons not trying to wait their turn. When we booked the reservation, it gave us the option to choose Prixe Fixe or the regular menu. We chose the regular menu as I know I wouldn’t eat anything other than a New York strip. When we brought it up to the waiter he shrugged us off and said it wasn’t prepared. We asked a manager and they said the same thing…we are paying $150 per person, the least you could do is throw some salt and pepper on a New York strip and put it on the grill for us. Our reservation was at 8pm. We didn’t get water until 8:40 after asking our waiter AND a manager. The broccoli came very cold and you’d think for $150 a person, you’d at least have some warm bread. It was cold and the butter was not able to be spread, so we had to eat chunks of butter with our cold bread. After tip our bill came out to over $540 for a very poor experience and for a meal we thought would be special and where we could choose what we wanted. This was not the case and we won’t be coming back.

    At a $150 price point per patron. Appetizers Canadian bacon was Luke warm to touch, the waiter had to be reminded that we existed, rarely approached our table, never asked how we were doing/how food was. Noticed patrons across from us received bread but our table didn’t, and we were given the wrong desert. My wife and I have been to Benjamin’s for 9 years for Valentines Day and on many other occasions however this time we were extremely disappointed. Felt like we were bamboozled for Valentines Day especially without the staple Porterhouse for two on their menu! No A La Carte menu choices left much to be desired for regular patrons.

    . Non uniform fatty prime steak. Overpriced better off spending that amount of money at Keene or STK in NYC. Sub standard.
