    Filet was special! Tender, nicely seasoned, beautiful piece of meat. The crab & corn chowder spectacular. My prime rib was not quite seasoned as well and not as tender but my Caesar salad was delicious with the homemade dressing. The lobster steak topping sauce yum! It was having a separate bowl of chowder. Mushroom topping a tad sweet. Crème brûlée beautifully served and very good. Joe was delightful and made us feel very special.

    The hostess was gracious & friendly. We arrived a few minutes before our reservation & were seated quickly. Our server was very pleasant, engaging and very knowledgeable. Each course was spread out nicely making for an enjoyable meal. The restaurant has an excellent wine selection and varied food menu. The tuna tartare was bland. Our Caesar salads were fresh, with good flavor and dressed lightly with rye croutons & Parmesan crisps. The fresh hot baguette rolls were crusty, light & fluffy. My spouse’s NY strip steak was perfectly cooked, tender & flavorful. I had the surf & turf. The scallops were tender and flavorful; they could have been seared more to give the exterior texture a nice crust. The filet was requested medium-rare but came out very rare. When our server saw that it was undercooked she immediately offered to remedy it but it would have delayed our meal. The asparagus was overcooked/limp & the mashed potatoes were over blended making them thick & gluey not light & creamy. Will consider another visit.

    This is a great restaurant. The prime rib was fabulous. Excellent espresso martini. Great service. Great view of downtown Roanoke.

    Enjoyed a nice dinner with friends. Had reservations so we’re seated right away. Food and drinks 10/10.

    Our server was the best. Very sweet and attentive. The meals were good with the exception of the lamb lollipops which were cool and too chewy.

    I booked this place for my mom’s birthday so that she and my dad could go on a nice date - they said it was fantastic! The food was delicious and they said the service was great. They even gave my mom a slice of cake for her birthday! Thank you Billy’s for making the night special.
