Birch & Vine is an innovative restaurant within the hip boutique hotel known as The Birchwood. Birch & Vine takes a seasonal approach to crafting its Globally Inspired cuisine. As the seasons change and the bounty of the land and sea evolves, so do the menus at Birch & Vine. Located on famous Beach Drive in the Downtown St. Petersburg district, the restaurant sits across the street from North Straub Park, the Vinoy Marina, and the sparkling waters of Tampa Bay.

Please note, online reservations are available for Birch and Vine, we do not accept online reservations for the Canopy, reservations for The Canopy may be available through the restaurant directly.

2nd time and last time I will be eating here. It started the same way both times. Hostess is unaware of what seats are available. Takes us to a table that already has guest. She apologized and waited for another table. I heard that several times while we were there. The food was terrible!! The lobster was over cooked. I had to ask for drawn butter which was cold when I finally got it. My husbands spaghetti was served cold. Our lead waitress was great. Sadly she will have to spilt her 20% with the other incompetent servers - who reach over to serve- water glasses smelled. it's just a place people go because of location and how great it looks. Looks can be fake. There are so many better places. Don't go!!! its not worth it.

The food was salty and the cosmo tasted like it was made in a dirty martini shaker that wasn’t washed. We Will most likely not be back. the experience was not worth the price. Danielle was wonderful and made the evening a pleasant experience.

We went for dinner on New Year's Eve and sat outside. Our servers name was Javier and he was so friendly and efficient. We ordered the Cheddar Bread, Truffle Caesar salad and Beef Bolognese. Also Pistachio Cake and Tiramisu for dessert. Every dish came out fresh, perfect temperature and delicious. We lived everything. The atmosphere was chill and good energy. Will def be back. Have been to this restaurant in the past and this visit was the best in service and food quality. Great night out

Food was delicious and cocktails and a 2014 LMR Cabernet were outstanding. Service was top notch as usual. Thank you!

We started out “girls’ night out” on the rooftop. Enjoyed drinks and beautiful views of the water and downtown. Dinner followed and we had a lovely time together.

We had the fixed menu for Christmas Eve dinner. The food was just okay. Not worth the value. The fact they add a 20% service charge for their employee wages and benefits is their business. Why are we paying for that. I don’t agree with it and will not return. For what we paid it wasn’t worth it.
