A small, intimate restaurant perfectly situated on the oldest lane in Norwich, Bishops Dining Room and Wine Bar is everything you would expect from a fine dining restaurant and more. Our welcoming, relaxed atmosphere will ensure you and your guests have an experience to treasure. Our food is locally sourced, wherever possible, to give you a taste of the real Norfolk. Our Chefs passionately prepare each of our dishes to really make Bishops Dining Room and Wine Bar a unique restaurant, any special requests are happily accommodated. Enticing, seasonal menus will ensure all of our guests leave us wanting more. Originally from Lake Como, Italy, Alex Tranquillo is looking forward to personally welcoming you and your guests to Bishops Dining Room and Wine Bar. His love for catering will ensure you are looked after from the moment you walk in, until the minute you leave.

    Always a lovely relaxed and welcoming atmosphere at Bishops. Food was amazing, wonderful friendly and attentive staff. Fantastic evening.

    Absolutely fabulous, food was delicious and outstanding, staff as always were attentive, polite and friendly. Always exceptionally clean and the perfect environment to eat amazing food and enjoy conversation. I know not important to everyone but I have to say the ladies toilet is a delight to use with fabulous toiletries. Thank you to you all for another perfect anniversary lunch.

    Greeted by Alessandro upon entering Bishops- very hospitable and friendly. We enjoyed an aperitif at the bar. Followed by a delicious three course meal. Very good quality wines recommended to compliment the food. Have already re-booked to try out the Sunday lunch. Would throughly recommend.

    Our first visit to Bishops and it was everything we expected. There was a warm welcome and excellent service. The lunchtime menu is small but suited us. We both settled for the game terrine starter, which was a great choice as was the main of Hake. We choose Lemon tart and cheese board for pudding, both lovely Washed down with a delightful Bardolino wine.
