                                                                                                          Bistango is my favorite restaurant in Orange County. The food is consistently excellent and was even better on Saturday. We very much enjoy the live music also. To the management: Thank you for a consistently wonderful dining experience.

                                                                                                          This was a birthday celebration for our son, which included his 22 month old daughter. Our server and his support was excellent. The food, as always, was outstanding. The live music was a little loud.

                                                                                                          New Year's Eve, restaurants usually do not perform as well as other times, and this was no exception. First we were not warned on any site that the menu would be restricted and the regular one would not be offered. Maybe I should have called. The waitress seemed to be a bit disorganized; maybe a temporary help. We have been several times and as usual the food was good, but since the menu was not as expected I had a problem selecting what I usually order.

                                                                                                          The restaurant decor was very festive. The food was excellent. The service overall was fine, however one of our guests did not get their meal until the rest of us had finished ours. We were eating slowly hoping her steak and lobster would show up during our meals. It took almost 40 minutes to get her her meal after we reminded them the first time. We mentioned her lack of food a number of times. They were very busy, but others who came later than we did were served the same meal she ordered as she waited. This made her angry, crude and obnoxious during our meals and the rest of us at the table endured her wrath and rude behavior as we checked out. My date and I left, yet we understand she got belligerent and angry at her husband as they were exiting. Granted she was not the best choice of a dinner guest to join us , but the late food just made her surly attitude worse. I will return as the food is excellent and the service generally MUCH better. I WILL NOT be bringing her back with me next time. My apologies for those who dined around us and to Bistango and their staff. Happy New Year!

                                                                                                          Overall a good experience for the first time there but it is on the pricey side. I had the grilled shrimp salad at $39. Should have been $29. The service is attentive but there were only about 8 occupied tables so it wasn’t busy at all.

                                                                                                          The Bistango restaurant is a five star dining experience. Food was superb. It was so busy that we had to wait thirty minutes for our table. We used the time for a cocktail at the bar which was great. Music was also provided for the diners entertainment.
