                                                                                                    I was served 2 raw steaks. Once returned for a third time (still raw), I was told it had to be like that because it’s Wagyu. No!! American wagyu is not Japanese wagyu. The marbling is way more distinctive. Nothing on our bill was comped, but thank god the manager offered us a free bottle of wine to forget our troubles - we declined. Undoubtedly the worst experience we’ve had and likely will never return.

                                                                                                    I would preface this review by saying we dined at Bistro 7 on Valentines days, and it was busy, so this may not be representative of a typical meal there. The meal was a 4 course fixed price meal $95 per person, with options for appetizers, main and dessert. Overall the experience was OK, but not great. The service was very good, our waitress was attentive and personable. The food was OK, but not great. I had the New York steak, and it was cooked medium rare as I requested, but the steak itself was only 1/2 thick and not a great cut of meat, so a bit disappointing. My wife had the Halibut, and it was a bit overdone, though still moist in the middle. The appetizers and the dessert didn't knock my socks off, but were OK. Bistro 7 is close to us, so I think we'll give it another try on a less busy night, and see how they do.

                                                                                                    Excellent cioppino special with soft shelled crab - great seafood and broth was perfect. Didn't want to share, but I did for a bite of my husband's salmon dinner. Staff was fully engaged as always. Sarah top server - knows our drink order and appetizers. Great dining experience.

                                                                                                    This was my first time eating here the food was great. Our server was helpful with making choices not only on drinks but appetizers and entrées. Would definitely go back.

                                                                                                    Eating Bistro style is one of our favorite ways to dine here. We had an appetizer to share and I then ordered meatballs and a caesar side salad. Husband ordered the duck special with steamed broccoli and mash. We shared a bit of each. The chef does a great job with the duck with just enough blackberry sauce to enhance the flavor. Four meatballs again, enough to share and the salad large enough to bring a portion home for lunch. Salad is fresh enough that transferred to a plastic container, it is just as crisp the following day. Service is so professional and friendly. Sarah knows our dining habits, and no matter how busy she is always on top of our order. Entire staff is very welcoming and we always feel at home here.
