   Such a great night. The restaurant was empty, unfortunately, but I was able to say to my wife that I rented the whole place out for her birthday. Service was authentically French and fairly attentive. The cuisine... SPECTACULAR. The wine list featured cab francs and champagnes, so it was spot-on with its mission. We loved the experience, and will definitely be back again. What a perfect Orlando getaway to a Paris bistro - book it for a romantic night or a special occasion.

   Had great hopes. Food was fair. They kept the decor of the previous restaurant including the crooked hanging pictures. The food was edible at best. I had made a reservation for 7pm and there were no other customers.

   We were initially disappointed to learn that this quaint French bistro had changed hands from the last time we ate there. However the menu stayed true to its roots and the meals were well prepared. The service was not as expected in light of how few tables were occupied. Still, all in all, we would recommend the Bistro le Coq au Vin for a quiet classic French dinner.

   This is a new, smaller, sister restaurant to the wonderful Le Coq au Vin on South Orange Avenue. It may be a little hard for most people to find since it is located in a strip mall. My husband and I made reservations here for 8:00 on New Year's Eve, but when we arrived, there there were only three other couples there. We decided to sit outside, and although it faces the parking lot, there weren't many people in the area, probably due to it being New Years Eve. The manager, who was a transplant from the original Le Coq au Vin restaurant, visited our table to see how we were enjoying our meal. The server was very attentive, sometimes too attentive, hovering, and whisking our plates away as we took our last bite. I'm sure it was because he only had one other table. The food was as excellent here, as it is at the original, and reminded us again of our trips to France. They had two prix fixe menus to choose from, both of which were moderately priced. I would highly recommend trying this place, and now might be a great time to do it. Once word gets out that there is another Le Coq au Vin, with exquisite food, it will be just as hard to get into as it is at the original.

   If you like the original location on South Orange Ave. you will like this location even more. The menu and quality of food is the same, service outstanding, and the feel is much better than the old house. Large covered front porch is really nice and interior seating is also very nice and open.

   We had visited CloClo in the past with European friends and had a good time and great food. We went with the expectation to find a French atmosphere. To our surprise, it had changed ownership and the chef. The décor is nice as before however the greeters were chatting when we walked in, not a very good first impression. When seated the server was pleasant however had little to no knowledge about wines and was rushing through the menu. The pate appetizer was not what it should have been on the menu of a French restaurant. There was no pate in it, only salame, ham and other cuts more on the Italian side. I would rate the Coq Au Vin an 8, my scallops dish a 6 and desserts a 6. No French atmosphere, that was gone.! I would return for the Coq Au Vin.

   Very disappointing! Except for our kind waiter The rabbit Like pulled pork but not advertised as such The steak dismal Needs major improvement !

    Was very surprised when I walked to see that the name has changed. It had not changed on Opentable at that time. The atmosphere was very similar. The food was good, the service was great. The waitress was making effort to speak french ;-) The menu has some variation from the one from Bistro Cloclo, but it was good. The 2 dishes I had where good, however, I doubt that they would have been prepared exactly like that in a french restaurant (I meant in France). The dinner was very nice, however, the slight change in the menu does not match what I am looking from a french restaurant, sorry I am picky. If you look for a french restaurant experience it is a good one to go with, you won't be disappointed.
