Bistro Mezzaluna has been a long time favorite of Fort Lauderdales discerning local diners and snowbirds alike. Located in a magnificant freestanding location at 1821 SE 10th Ave. (just a few short blocks away from our original location).
Under the watchful eyes of executive chef Jose Diaz, we maintain our reputation for well-crafted bistro fare. Add to that an award winning wine list (arguably the best in the county) and exceptional service and you will soon see why Bistro Mezzaluna has become synonymous with great dining.

The eclectic menu boasts such delights as ; U.S.D.A. prime steaks, homemade pastas and the freshest seasonal seafood including colossal stone crab claws.                                                                                         Bistro Mezzaluna is our all time favorite "go to" for special occasions. Last night at Valentine's dinner with the family, it was an "off night". The service was very, very, very slow which we attributed to the packed dining rooms. But having to ask for water 3 times and not getting any is not good even under those circumstances. Finally, the maitre d filled our glasses. SO THIRSTY! The cesar salad was reminiscent of bagged lettuce...the dressing was delicious but the croutons very mundane. The veal scallopini was tasty but several bites ended up back on my side plate for being tough and chewy -- filled with tendons I guess. The menu listed roasted potatoes to be on the plate -- but none were served. THEREFORE, not the typical great experience we anticipated. We will return for another try and perhaps stick with the YellowTail Snapper to which our daughter gave 5 stars !! We appreciate Bistro M for all the years of great dining -- and hopefully, this (as previously stated) was an "off night".

                                                                                        I’ve eaten at this restaurant at their former location on 17th St., and now at this location for many years. The food, service, and ambiance are great! They always have music too! It’s a great dinner place!

                                                                                        Very expensive for average food. We enjoyed our meal and our server was excellent. The noise level was unbearable! We would have stayed and had a couple more drinks but could not have a conversation because of the noise level. Maybe some sound proofing on the walls or ceiling would help. Definitely sit outside if you dine here.
