The food were delicious, the ambient was nice and quiet, and the servers were excellent. It was a very great dinner.

🎂🌺🙃💋our first visit Now we want to find more excuses to drive to San Diego! Chris, the manager stopped to chat and made us feel like family. Luciano, our waiter, treated us like royalty. We chose the prix fixe menu and were amazed. The filet was tasty and cooked perfectly. The wine sauce was delicious- as everything else we ordered. We even got to meet our chef Nick and couldn’t stop telling him how much we enjoyed everything. Please thank everyone again for us!

Food was good as always but we don't like our meats on top of the mashed potatoes it takes the taste away and blood never looks good on potatoes. Put this stuff next to it not under. This kinda ruined our experience this time

Beautiful ambiance, amazing decorated Xmas tree Outstanding wait staff, professional service, delicious food from appetizers to desserts. Special Hoiday Cheer to manager Chris. We highly recomnend Black and Blue.

The service has been very good. People are going out of their way to make you feel welcome. The food is right on - quite delicious.

Great birthday dinner! This is our 4th experience and food is always delicious. The presentation is ALWAYS amazing! Service was good. Can’t wait for next visit.

Been eating here for decades, always excellent food and service. The big problem has become that the restaurant is now kept uncomfortably cold. Most everybody is wearing coats and jackets and diners are asking to change tables to be out of the draft. They actually have their air conditioning cranked up on high when outside temp is 50 degrees. We asked both our server and Chris the manager to turn the AC off or at least lower it, both said they would but it never happened. The lounge/bar area adjacent is at least 10 degrees warmer and quite comfortable. Is this a ploy to keep diners from staying too long or are they accommodating the staff that are moving about working? Is the lounge area warmer to sell more drinks? Whatever the case may be this is unacceptable and making an otherwise pleasant dining experience very unenjoyable. This will be a deal-breaker for us to return. I was wearing a jacket but my hands were ice cold as I left the restaurant.
