Food is good not the best it was a very busy time so staff struggled a bit to keep up. Good value for the cost

We waited 20 minutes past our reservation time—no big deal. Our server showed up to take drink orders, but no bread was offered. No drink menu was provided until we asked. Still, it was a minor thing. After our order, we didn't see the server again until we asked two different "busboys" to get her. She never asked how our food was or if we needed anything. We got to go boxes from another buser walking by. The booths are ratty with lots of big openings from excess wear. The servers clearly are asked to cover too many tables. It was a mess. Luckily the kitchen did a good job and the food was good.

Our server, Deanna, was amazing as always! The managers work as hard as everyone else which makes things move as quickly as possible. The food is always over the top at very good prices.

my huband and i both ordered porterohuse steaks. mine was deoicious my husbands was very bad, mostly grissel, and fat. he did not eat it, after a few bites. he should have said something when we were there, but he did'nt. everything else was good.

The service was very fast. Our waitress was very polite and the prime rib was delicious! We'll go back there for sure for another birthday in a few weeks!

We were a table of 8 for a birthday celebration and it was great. Drinks from bar took a while to get but they were busy. Dinner for everyone arrived at same time and all was delicious. Thoroughly enjoyed our evening with our friendly waitress

I honestly don’t know how this restaurant gets 5 star reviews. I gave it 2 stars overall but only because our waitress was so nice. Our crab cake appetizers were decent. Salads were good, but all of us ordered twin lobster tails and steaks. Every steak was overcooked. They put lots of pepper on the lobster tails and dry them out. You don’t season lobster with pepper. A little paprika for garnish is what’s typically used. The lobster can stand on its own. I ordered a filet medium rare. It came out well done. They remade it but it was medium well. My guests ordered theirs medium and they were well done. You’d think a steak house would know how to cook a steak. My baked potato was cooked perfectly though. The photos online and on the menu are beautiful. Too bad the cooks don’t deliver food that looks like that.

They had several special Meal options and we all enjoyed them. It was the day after Thanksgiving, which they were open for and super busy, yet all the employees (who had to be exhausted) were courteous. Since we had waited too long to get reservations for Thanksgiving this year, we made sure we were on the list for next year.

Have eaten at Black Angus several Thanksgivings, has been my place of choice. Not so much this year. Service was poor (three requests for a missing set of silverware for one of the party, did not arrive until ten minutes or more after food arrived, for example). The special turkey dinner (what I usually get) was good once one could get around the saltiness of the gravy, not a problem in the past. I think maybe Black Angus tried to take too many reservations for the day(?).
