   Another wonderful Wine Wednesday at Black Angus! Great service by Miss Carmel as usual, supported Chuey....we shared the filet medallions and wild caught grilled shrimp dish with mashed potatoes. We started with a yummy, perfectly fresh loaf of molasses bread and a wedge salad....and brought home a piece of the "special" chocolate cake for dessert. Vodka cocktail for hubby and bottle of Sonoma Cutrer Chardonnay (half-priced--brought the leftovers home!). We will be back!

   Always a great experience with Miss Carmel! She takes great care of the guests and we look forward to our weekly visits! Food was fabulous, NY Steak and crab cakes, baked potato and rice pilaf....and the bread!!! Half-priced bottle of wine, and took the other half home....vodka martini for the hubby....the whole team takes such good care of us regulars!!!

   We hadn’t been to Black Angus in a few years, the quality of food was disappointing. All of the meat was overcooked and the appetizers/sides were lukewarm at best. We had a large party and sadly, everyone was disappointed. Maybe it was just an off night, but the experience was a let down.

   For those of you are thinking this great American Brand has lost a step, think again.. BA has some of the great Steakhouse originals from the best traditions. i.e. Salads with a cold fork and a cold plate, class.. (awesome blue cheese dressing).! Great Old-school prime rib..    Brett our server was good, no complaints regarding his service. The food was ok, steak was a bit tough (ordered medium). The sides were ok as well. Probably won’t come back. There are better steakhouses in town.

    Kimberly, our waitress was awesome. I appreciate her being very polite and courtesy. This location has a nice layout as well.
