If you're looking for a seafood restaurant in St. Augustine, this unique fly-fishing themed restaurant offers daily fresh fish specials using locally caught fish that you don't usually see on most restaurant menus. The kitchen at BlackFly is a "Scratch Kitchen"; everything is fresh, as local as possible, seasonal and made to order. The menu at BlackFly includes Chop House selections as well as an extensive wine selection. Mike and Cindy, partners in BlackFly and owners of the Famous Collage Restaurant in downtown St. Augustine are the operational managers. The menu is the grand result of their combined expertise, their years of experience in bringing the best possible product to the table and the imaginative input of our talented culinary team. The restaurant is under the internationally known BlackFly Brand of Vaughn Cochran, a Florida artist who lives and paints in St. Augustine, Florida and who developed the famous BlackFly Logo.

    Absolutely wonderful birthday dinner at Blackfly! Our server Dave was awesome and both of our meals were fantastic. I got the blue crab pasta and my husband got the chicken parm. We couldn’t get over how good it was! Will definitely be back next time we visit St Augustine.

    Yes, it is away from the hub bub of St. Augustine, but a real treasure in all areas. Cheerful and professional wait staff. Food arrived quickly and hot, perfectly seasoned. Great value for price. Will definitely be back!

    Nice local spot. Very good service. I had the Cobb salad with fresh catch (had to ask for a different dressing) fish was very good Cobb was basically lettuce and little else. Husband had tenderloin. Good size. A little heavy on the salt. Excellent key lime pie. Had to ask for fresh brew coffee. First cup was disgusting. Excellent Manhattan.

    The meal was beyond delicious and Daniel’s professional personable service was exquisite. Fish was awesome! Salads so fresh, so delish, great bar service too…we will return@!

    From presentation to every delicious bite, the food was phenomenal! The service by our waiter, Daniel, was excellent. We couldn’t have had a better experience. We will definitely dine there again when visiting St. Augustine.

    Good place. Not a tourist place which was nice, but also lacks a bit finishing. Food was well prepared, and tasty. I feel like their menu lacks some options though. Although it is a fish place, there didn’t seem to be a lot of fish on the menu. Daily catch done two ways, scallops, crab. All in all it was a break from the busy, but I can see what is holding this place back. Totally worth the experience, but man if they put a bit more into it!
