Delicious! Seafood with a sophisticated preparation. The French mussels were outstanding. The Branzino was also very good. We will dine here again!

Oysters were very nice. Clam chowder very good. Crab cakes, just ok, really too expensive for what they were. Service was very good. Oysters Rockefeller were excellent. Nice selection of seafood.

Not sure how Black Salt is so crowded. Prices are insane and atmosphere more dark and dingy than anything else. $58 for a salmon entree and an $80 steak that came out rare when asked for medium. A simple meat thermometer would be good for the kitchen. We ordered a quinoa salad that was $25. Red snapper for $56. There are consistently better and more reasonably priced restaurants such as Et Viole almost across the street. Our party felt like we were being taken advantage of. Total bill plus tip was $425 and this is with only one drink ordered and the ribeye was removed from the bill.

Amazing seafood, beautifully prepared. Perfect for casual or intimate meals. Love the market in the front and the quality of service. Had not been there in years, but will go back soon.

Fantastic as always. Every dish was a delight. Terrific service and the freshest seafood. At the top of our list of favorite restaurants. We love BlackSalt!

This is our favorite place in the DMV to get a high quality seafood meal. BY FAR! Offerings are extensive and preparations range from simple classics to highly creative combinations. We love their fried clams, oysters Rockefeller, and clam chowder. Their fish specials are superb. Last night I selected a specific fish from the market for them to prepare. Room in front usually high energy while room in back better for a quiet meal. Why this restaurant is not in Washingtonian Top 100 is bewildering.

The service and food was good. We had a nice birthday dinner. Received a chocolate Grenache which was a nice touch from the restaurant.

While service was beyond excellent they put is in the back room which was the kiss of death. They put a private party of 12 next to us who were loud and obnoxious!! It was horrible and no one from management apologized or confronted the noise!!! However the waiter did his best!!!
