    Overall, food was good. We had a 5:00 reservation and I felt like things were winding down. Buffet stations were a little unkept/messy.

    This is our second time at blackwall hitch in annapolis. We had a nice dinner with great service. Everyone that works there is very friendly and accommodating. We will be back definitely for a third time.

    I recently went to Blackwall in Annapolis for a solo thanksgiving meal this year. This was my first visit bit it won't be my last. My server, Jenna, was amazing and explained the buffet style setup and was great with suggestions for drinks. Very attentive and sweet. There was a variety of options including carving stations for turkey, prime rib, and ham. I tried a bit from every station. While all the options were tasty, I got seconds of the prime rib and mashed potatoes. They also f had a variety of Thanksgiving sides so something for everyone. The manager stopped by to check on all guests. The music created such a relaxing ambiance. For drinks, I got a very strong winter spice old fashioned and their house cab which was very smooth. I can't wait to come back to try their regular menu!

    First let me say that the food is really quite good. So is the ambience. The price at $48 seems a tad high for brunch. We had brunch for 3 and a tip of $30 is tacked on. Now, our service consisted of water, 2 coffees and 3 Sprites. Please note that I always give 20% even for a buffet, which is what this is. In fact, I added $5 to the tip. I simply think it's a bit presumptuous for the restaurant to add that much sir buffet service, which really isn't service at all.

While the brunch is a buffet, our servers stock and maintain the brunch buffet, refill menu items, clean and maintain the buffet tables, offer beverage service, buss and clear plates, reset tables, and perform an array of additional services to ensure that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience.     Food was ample and terrific. I had the short rib sandwich and my friend had the Southwest Salad. I even took advantage of the short rib/vegetable for home deal.

    Went here for a light meal and decided to sit at the bar. Had the lobster bisque which was good. Several good wine selections and their house red is pretty good. They had a house band playing which brough some energy to the dining area. Band played a couple of sets. Overall great establishment.

    Server (Seth) was Great. Very responsive and kept our glasses full. Excellent food! Had the shrimp and scallops risotto which was delicious! Our entire party of 5 thoroughly enjoyed the entire dinner!

    My overall experience was great! However, the hostess demonstrated extreme inflexibility when I asked for a table that did not have the extreme hot sun glaring in the middle of the table - which would’ve caused me and my table guest to squint or wear sun glasses during our entire meal.
